Redlinks edit

Hello,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your edits to William Plummer McRae and John E. Mason removing some redlinks. I recommend reading WP:REDLINK. Redlinks have a purpose, and if the individual is notable (see WP:NOTABLE), and these are since they are state politicians, then a redlink is appropriate. --Engineerchange (talk) 04:21, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attempt to speedy delete something that is currently at AfD. QuicoleJR (talk) 13:19, 4 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

@QuicoleJR Sir, please note that it is already in draft space and moreover it does not fulfill the criteria of wp:nactor. There are various types of misconceptions on this page like it was claimed that it fullfills the wp:dadasaheb criteria but it was a misleading information. It has not been reviewed till 9 days after nominating for afd, however the author is adding misleading information on this page. After discussion with the admin, it was sent to speedy delete. Worldiswide (talk) 13:31, 4 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, but you used the incorrect criteria for speedy deletion. Previous speedy deletes are explicitly exempt from G4. QuicoleJR (talk) 13:34, 4 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
ohk. Didn't keep in mind ....What can we put in other than G4? You can help with this thanks Worldiswide (talk) 13:45, 4 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mohamad Yaraghi edit

Hello, Worldiswide,

It looks like when you tagged this article for a deletion discussion, you didn't inform the page creator of the discussion. This is a necessary part of the deletion process. Please use Twinkle and set your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator" so that in the future, page creators receive notices. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:41, 20 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Draftification edit

Hello, Worldiswide,

You are a new editor and I think you are pretty unfamiliar with content creation and Wikipedia policies. I do not think you have the editing experience to decide when it is appropriate to move a main space article to Draft space. Please work on improving articles and hold off on administrative work until you have been editing longer, like several months. Maybe it would be best to wait until you are extended confirmed.

If you have any questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:34, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Liz raj look like little bit notable by many ref. i think author not completed this page. so i moved this page in draftspace. Worldiswide (talk) 02:44, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prateek Dhankhar edit

Hello, Worldiswide,

You seemed to have created an AFD page but never tagged the article for an AFD discussion. You should really take things much slower and learn how to use Twinkle. As it is now, nothing will come from this nomination without the article being tagged. Did you add this AFD nomination to the daily AFD log page? Liz Read! Talk! 02:40, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Liz sorry for this. i remember next tym Worldiswide (talk) 02:47, 16 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello,Worldiswide, You directly added the page for speedy deletion without giving any notice.First, you can discuss improvements on the talk page to see where we can improve the page without breaking it.This article Swoopna Suman (singer) was reviewed by an administrator and approved, but now you are directly added the tag of speedy deletion without any notice. So,I request that you undo the action and help improve the article. Thank you., Manalbare (talk) 08:04, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Manalbare that's not a speedy deletion. you can imporove it Worldiswide (talk) 02:35, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

AFDs edit

Hello, Worldiswide,

You are a relatively new editor and are participating in a lot of AFDs and only making the comment "per nom". These contributions are not helpful to a discussion closer because it doesn't say anything about the quality of an article in question. AFDs are not a "vote" and require more thoughtful comments. Only participate in AFD deletion discussions if you can independently evaluate an article and its sources and offer policy-based opinions on why an article should be Kept, Deleted, Redirected or Merged. "Per nom" statements look like you only read the nomination statement and didn't actually look at the article. Please try to offer your own assessment on what should happen with an article. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:51, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

hey @Liz, I write this only when I check the article thoroughly and if my investigation is exactly parallel to the nominator's statement. Then what is the harm in writing 'as per nomination'? Worldiswide (talk) 04:16, 7 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
hi @Worldiswide - a good faith comment and to echo Liz's point - your contribution at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mohammed Mustapha Namadi does exactly what is mentioned above - you've reiterated the nomination without contributing to the ongoing discussion which involves analysis of the *application* of NPOL. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 05:19, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Goldsztajn What do you mean to say? How does a Higher Education Commissioner indicate eligibility? Even if it shows, don't you think that this page should be written back? Is this format correct? Worldiswide (talk) 07:51, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Worldiswide - if you read the discussion, in particular the reference to a previous AfD (ie Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kulu Abdullahi Sifawa), it's clear that Commissioners in Nigeria are state level officers, who therefore satisfy the criteria for WP:NPOL. I'm not sure what you mean by "written back", but the current quality of an article is generally not a relevant consideration at AfD; WP:ARTN: "even very poor writing and referencing within a Wikipedia article will not decrease the subject's notability." Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 09:00, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Preeta Mathur moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Preeta Mathur. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Page is full of WP:FAKEREFERENCES. I removed two from the lead that cited films and neither of the sources even mentioned those film names. The three references at the end of the lead are to support her role as "chairperson" of a theatre when in fact only one reference mentions her role and says it is "president." This should be resubmitted only once you are able to double check the references you added to ensure they support all of the claims. The filmography section also needs sourcing. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CNMall41 (talk) 08:28, 4 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please SLOW DOWN. You did it again as the reference says she "appeared in" but doesn't list the role that you noted in the content. --CNMall41 (talk) 09:08, 4 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@CNMall41 Yes, you are right please wait till resubmit Worldiswide (talk) 09:13, 4 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for block evasion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Extraordinary Writ (talk) 22:52, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Respected @Extraordinary Writ @Liz, I know that my IP address matches with wiki97828, I do not want to give any opinion on this and I am sorry, but believe me, I have been contributing to Wikipedia without any discrimination for the last one year, mainly in the (article of deletion) category in which I have contributed a lot as per my understanding. I want that I should definitely be given a chance. I will continue my contribution under your guidance and Wikipedia terms and conditions. I hope you will consider this and be kind enough to give me a chance. God is my witness 🙏 Worldiswide (talk) 04:26, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I concur with the blocking admin below. 331dot (talk) 09:09, 16 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Evading a block by creating a new account only makes it less likely that the block will be lifted. My only suggestion at this point would be to take the standard offer: wait six months without any more block evasion, and then make an honest and forthright unblock attempt. In the meantime, you can also edit on the Simple English Wikipedia or a Wikipedia in your native language. But you're not going to be unblocked here when you've continued to evade your block.
