 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Cainta / Santa Maria, Bulacan

edit

Hi Wolfman5580. Welcome to WP and feel free to edit. But did you notice why I removed the "highly urbanized" statement from Cainta and Santa Maria, Bulacan, articles? By adding that to the first statement in the lead paragraph, it gives the wrong impression. "Highly urbanized" is a legal classification in PH for cities, not for municipalities. The fact that these 2 places are very urbanized can be explained in proper context elsewhere. In particular, the Santa Maria article already sufficiently explains it in following paragraphs. Please don't revert without discussion. Thanks. -- P 1 9 9   13:32, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I saw that on a few other pages for municipalities so why wasn't it also removed from those pages when it was added? Wolfman5580 (talk) 13:38, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I can't monitor all pages, but I will look at those now. Feel free to help. Thanks. -- P 1 9 9   15:46, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Blaze Wolf. I noticed that in this edit to Red Oak, Georgia, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:09, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

It didn't say it was unincorporated in the lede but I will not remove it again Wolfman5580 (talk) 17:10, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Profanity in edit summaries

edit

Whilst it is generally not a big deal to drop the f-word here and there, it is best not to use profanity in edit summaries, as it can do several things, such as trigger edit filters which then stop the edit, or cause editors to "revert first, ask questions later". Cheerio and happy editing! 🙂 Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 13:50, 30 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cro (musician)

edit

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did with this edit to Cro (musician). Thank you. Jusdafax (talk) 04:53, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Cro (musician). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Also, the material you have been adding to the article has no citation to any source, but Wikipedia policy is that unsourced material which has bee removed from an article must not be restored without providing a citation to a reliable source.JBW (talk) 11:03, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
