Tom Fleming Article edit

Hi, Willharriett. I see you've been working hard on Draft:Tom Fleming (artist). It caught my interest, so I'm chipping in and seeing if we can get this article to a status where it's fit for Wikipedia. Do you have any direct connection with the artist? It's not a big deal if you do; I just want to make sure that gets disclosed, and I'm hoping maybe you can secure permission to use a photograph of Fleming. Give me a few days to keep adding to this article. If you can find any more sources to cite, please keep adding them to the article, even if you're not sure where/how they fit or how to cite them. Thanks! -- DanielKlotz (talk · contribs) 23:03, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

That would be great Daniel! Yes, I am a fan/friend and have contact through his website and Facebook. What would I need to do to secure permission for the photograph? Willharriett (talk) 18:26, 9 February 2016 (UTC)WillharriettReply
Great. I'll tell you, the process can seem daunting. There are some hoops to jump through. But follow this guide to the letter, and you'll be all set. Skip "Step 1" and start with "Step 2." Advice for how to acquire a free image -- DanielKlotz (talk · contribs) 21:11, 9 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
One more question Daniel; Fleming has quite a few Movie and TV credits that appear on the rolling credits after the movies and on his IMDB page, but there is very little on the internet that lists the actual full credits for movies and TV. I can see his name listed in the actual movies, but can't find links to them. Any ideas on how these legit credits can be cited since Wikipedia does not recognize IMDB as a reliable source(which makes him even more notable)? Willharriett (talk)
Hi Daniel, you are not kidding when you say the process is daunting! I have worked really hard on this article, but I have to be honest, I am almost ready to give up even though it seems like it is almost ready. I contacted Fleming and he said that he would be happy to provide the photo with permission. Is there any way that you could finish the photo request if I provided you with his email address? I truly appreciate you helping me on this!! Let me know what else I need to do? Willharriett (talk) 04:18, 11 February 2016 (UTC)willharriett Willharriett (talk)Reply
Hi Daniel, Please help. I contacted Mr. Fleming and he sent in the photo and release himself instead of going back and forth with emails, I hope that will work? Also, I found a link on Wikipedia for Trinoc*coN that Wikipedia has Fleming listed as a "Notable Guest"! How could Wikipedia recognize him as notable in one article and then say we need more references to prove notability in this one? Here is the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinoc*coN#Art can you possibly help with this? Willharriett (talk) 16:40, 16 February 2016 (UTC)willharriettReply
Thanks! Hopefully it will work in terms of Fleming sending in the release directly. That would be great. As for the other stuff -- I'm preparing to go on a two-week vacation, so I have to put my Wikipedia stuff on hold until early March. I'll talk to you again then. -- DanielKlotz (talk · contribs) 16:54, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
