Speedy deletion nomination of File:Yaqubi1.JPG

A tag has been placed on File:Yaqubi1.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. A couple of pieces of advice

Please note that a) Facebook is never a valid reference, and that the only personnel who should be listed in the "notable residents" of a community page are those that are indeed notable - we usually mean those who have articles on Wikipedia (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 14:58, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

And do not remove the "references" notice at the top of the page. The only current reference is NOT a valid reliable source (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 15:01, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Haji Diyar Khan Yaqubi

The article Haji Diyar Khan Yaqubi has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

Neither of the two links mention him, source searches turn up little that verifies any of the claims made in the older revisions nor do they succeed in demonstrating biographical notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
