Original research

Hi Wiki-senetor, I removed your recent contribution at Drishyam because it didn't seem constructive to me. Though I did explain my removal in my edit summary, I wanted to explain it in detail for your benefit. It is not our place as editors to make statements like, "Drishyam recieved highly positive reviews from critics as well as audience." The statement sounds like you are attempting to analyze all critical and audience response, which, even if you'd personally read every single review from every critic, would still constitute original research. Statements about overall critical response typically come from one of two sources, review aggregators Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic, and even then, they must be phrased so that it is clear the summary is coming from Metacritic instead of random Wikipedia editors: "Based on their tabulations, Metacritic assessed the critical response as mostly positive." • I recommend denying the unblock request. This editor posted a question about the image he does not prefer at Wikipedia:Media_copyright_questions#File:Twenty20poster.jpg. I stated to him in unequivocal terms that the edit war needed to stop, and discussion needed to begin. I placed {{uw-3rr}} warnings on both this talk page and that of the person he is edit warring with (see this). Despite this, the other editor once again reverted [2], and the editor here requesting the unblock decided to continue the edit war by reverting [3], then making a report against Bangbang43 at WP:AIV ([4]), at WP:AN3 ([[5]), informing Bangbang43 of the AN3 request [6], and finally directly accusing Bangbang43 of vandalism [7]. 4 edits in 30 minutes regarding Bangbang43 and not once did he attempt to actually initiate a conversation on the subject with Bangbang43 either on the article's talk page (as he had been directed at WP:MCQ) or the editor's talk page. Rather than undo this block (which expires in 5 1/2 hours), the editor needs to be warned about the ramifications of continuing the edit war, stop making incorrect reports of vandalism, and strongly encouraged to follow Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. It is already past the middle of the contest and we are really excited about the Months of African Contest 2021 achievements so far! We want to extend our sincere gratitude for the time and energy you have invested. If you have not yet participated in the contest, it is not too late to do it.
