Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Aeroflot flight 4227 with this edit, did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Deletions

edit

Please note that, although you have page-creation privileges, you do not have page-deletion privileges. Certain wiki engines grant page-deletion privileges to the page creator; MediaWiki does not.

Only administrators have page-deletion privileges. By replacing the text of the article with (nothing), you triggered the vandalism-detector bots (because replacing the text of an article with (nothing) is a not-uncommon form of vandalism). The bot reverted your blanking, and scolded you automatically.

If you want the article to be deleted, and you created it and no one else worked on it, that can be done if you provide a reason. DS (talk) 13:58, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Deletion of Aeroflot flight 4227 and Pacesetter (fishing vessel)

edit

Hello, I noticed that you wanted to remove these two article, of which you are the main contributor, from Wikipedia. Per the ownership of articles and the copyright policies, these requests are not usually granted. However, as a courtesy, we accept to do it from time to time. Why do you want these articles gone? Is there a problem that can be fixed? If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put {{helpme}} followed by your question on this page. -- Luk talk 14:02, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm glad to hear that. Cheers! -- Luk talk 17:23, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:26, 22 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Loss of control, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stapleton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:45, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

The article List of airliner crashes involving Loss of control has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Random list of marginally connected events

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
