Wikipedia and copyright

Hello Veeraswamy A, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Reserve Bank of India: Working and Functions have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. Hi, I have reverted some of your edits because it seems you were adding recent developments which are of no significance. Please have a look at WP:NOTNEWS before you add content again. Also, much of the content you have added is either not sourced or google search links are used as references. Please be careful in the future. Happy editing. For Competitive Exams

My additions largely using by students of competitive exams. My students attempting Bank Exams, as many notifications issued recently. These points are very important. I show few additions to wiki, yesterday in my class. They felt very happy. Sir, can I add these recent developments or not, please enlighten me. Veeraswamy Unfortunately Wikipedia has rules which need to be followed. It is not a teaching aid and not a place to add new events. I would highly recommend reading up on some of the Wikipedia policies before you edit again. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 18:07, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

Sir, but all students referring Wikipedia and getting much knowledge... So can't you allow to add current affairs, immensely useful for teachers and students..

Wikipedia has guidelines which we need to follow. Also, please don't add irrelevant information like non-executive chairman. The top 1/2 positions are enough. I would highly recommend you to have a look at the Wikipedia guidelines before you edit. You seem to be editing it as some form of study material which it is not.
