Our Society is still under evil traditional and many other malpractices. In this connection, people still have negative attitude towards the innocent children victimized by HIV positive. Even the government, evil society and intelligences are oblivious towards the basic rights and requirements. With a view to helping HIV victim children this institution has been established in 2067-06-13BS[2010-09-29AD] under this imitation of some social activities.

Taking "Altruism is religion" as its motto this institute has been providing the children from Dang, Baitadi and Salyan victimized by AIDS, with love and care along with the education. This Baby life Home aims at making the future of such children pretty bright.


First School with Unique Identity Safalta HIV Education House
From the very beginning Baby Life Home has been facing adverse situations. However, BLH is moving with its motto. Initially, this institution faced problem getting a house for rent but now, the children have been placed in the two-storied house of the founder president of this organization. Most of the government schools and private schools are running with profit motive. Therefore, they had denied admitting HIV victim children. In such a situation, we were not disheartened but moved ahead with full sense of devotion and dedication. Now, this organization under the coordination of district educational office, Kathmandu, has started pre-primary level class for those children in Safalta HIV Education House. This school was established under the permission of Kirtipur Municipality. The School was inaugurated by Kathmandu District Educational Officer, Babu Kaji Karki. Established with a view to providing basic education for HIV victim children, this is the First School with its unique identity. Now, in order to look after such children, five staffs are managed who are doing their job with sense of devotion and dedication. So far, there is no any fund to the Baby Home from the part of government or non-government organization. All financial parts have been managed by the President and the Executive Director of this organization, Mr. Raj Kumar Pun and Ms. Uma Gurung respectively. In fact, Baby Life Home is exclusively non-profit making organization which has single target to guarantee the rights to education for HIV victim children.
