Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Kiahandtarajean) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Kiah & Tara Jean. Thank you.

So what do I do now? I have changed my username. I do believe the article is notable. I have included verifiable sources in the article. Vancouverradiofan (talk) 05:50, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I suggest editing some other articles - something you are not connected with. That'll a) stop you being labelled as a single purpose account, and b) help you gain experience in Wikipedia. I wrote some advice on that topic; see User:Keegan/Butterfly#Company articles.
Regarding Kiah & Tara Jean, I have just edited it a little, and I was able to remove the tag saying it failed to meet the notability requirement.
There's still lots of scope for improvement, but please check the conflict of interest guidelines, and instead of editing it directly, make suggestions on the article's talk page and let others make the edits. The talk page is Talk:Kiah & Tara Jean. If you put the code {{Request edit}} on the talk page (just like that, including the wiggly brackets), that will get someones attention. See Template:Request edit.
There are still lots of unreferenced facts, so please say on the talk page if you can provide references, or if they should be removed if they are not verifiable. For example,
  • Kiah is a graduate of the Kathryn Dean School of Media and Performing Arts, having completed the Advanced Diploma in Journalism in 2000.
  • In September 2006, she was featured in The Georgia Straight’s ‘Fall Arts Review’.
  • Tara Jean is a graduate of the acting program at Studio 58 at Langara College.
  • Born in Campbell River, BC, Tara Jean moved to Prince Rupert, BC when she was 10. She graduated from Charles Hays Secondary School in 1997.
