Hello, I'm Shellwood. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Help:Media (audio and video)— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Shellwood (talk) 20:41, 21 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

My school IP adress is globally blocked and I cannot access the Unblock Ticket Request System under my school IP adress, so I cannot apply for IP adress block exemption. VanZa39 (talk) 22:24, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your issue should now be resolved. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 23:36, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

There's nothing that an administrator on English Wikipedia can do about problems on Simple English Wikipedia, but I think I have worked out what is causing your problem, and I will email a Simple English Wikipedia administrator about it. Rollback granted

edit

Hi VanZa39. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2019-05-17. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:50, 27 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

IP Block Exemption

edit

I am unable to edit or revert vandalism on the Simple English Wikipedia due to my school IP adress (198.237.49.220) being blocked, and unable to access the Unblock Ticket Request System due to it being blocked at my school. I am requesting IP Block exemption to be able to edit on the Simple English Wikipedia. Thank you. VanZa39 (talk) 20:25, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please see the section at Wikipedia:IP block exemption on how to request this through WP:UTRS NJA (t/c) 02:50, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
I am unable to request for IP block exemption becuase the site is blocked at my school. VanZa39 (talk) 03:21, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Can you not access the system from elsewhere? Admins are very unlikely to give IPBE without more information such as the IP address of the block. Do not post that here though, email to me privately using Special:EmailUser/NJA. NJA (t/c) 13:34, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not sure there was a different way to message you.

Hello, I'm Aranya. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Economy of England, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Aranya 22:53, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

The GDP data for those regions are at Economy of England and Economy of Scotland. VanZa39 (talk) 22:56, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
VanZa39, you still need to make it clear what the source of the addition is from in that case.   Aranya 23:28, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please don't let impatience with the vandals lead you to destroy text which simply needs to be restored, perhaps by using undo? Shenme (talk) 09:50, 31 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

mobileUndo

edit

Hello, recently FR30799386 was blocked for sock puppetry. The left behind few of their scripts. DannyS712 has copied the scripts, and has taken over maintaining them. It appears that you currently importing an outdated version of import FR30799386's mobileUndo, and I thought that you might want to import an updated and maintained version. The outdated version you are currently importing has some bugs. Those bugs have been fixed by the original creator and DannyS712 synced their version of the script with it. Also FR is currently rewritting and updating this script on meta-wiki per this advice as well as adding new features. Please copy one of the following codes and replace it with the code you currently have in your Special:MyPage/minerva.js or Special:MyPage/common.js to import this script. Thank you.
