Welcome!

edit

Hello, UrsulaWürthGroup, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! @CNMall41 Thank you for your message and your advice. I absolutely intend to contribute to Wikipedia in line with all guidelines. I’ve started over with Draft:Robert_Jacobsen_Prize and Talk:Reinhold_Würth and will contribute step by step now. Please let me know if there is anything I should handle differently. Again, thank you--UrsulaWürthGroup (talk) 13:55, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Dear @CNMall41:, thank you for guidance. As I said, while having a COI, I absolutely intend to contribute as a Wikipedian respecting all the rules. What would I have to do so that the paid contributions tag can be removed, e.g. here Würth? {{Help me}} Could I ask you to undo my changes, if that is okay, and then remove it? Then I will go via the talk pages with my suggestions? Would that work? Thank you for your advice on how to proceed.--UrsulaWürthGroup (talk) 14:52, 26 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for being candid with your disclosure. It goes a long way here. For removal of the tags on any article, I would suggest going to the talk page of each one individually and make whatever requests are necessary to make sure it is written from a WP:NPOV. The reason for the tags is not to be a badge of shame, but to allow other editors to know there may be an issue and to review it for anything that may need cleaned up. If an independent editor can determine there are no issues with NPOV, then the tag can be removed. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:07, 26 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Robert Jacobsen Prize moved to draftspace

edit

I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption: Robert Jacobsen Prize. Paid editors have a conflict of interest, and should therefore create drafts in draftspace and submit them for review. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – NJD-DE (talk) 15:43, 9 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Njd-de:: Thank you. I’ve completed the reworks on the draft to my best knowledge, strictly following a neutral point of view, with major German newspapers and Public Broadcasting as sources plus in-depth book about the prize. Please note that I have a conflict of interest as I am working in the communications department of Würth. Could you possibly review my suggestions as an uninvolved editor and make changes if you find them appropriate? Again, thank you --UrsulaWürthGroup (talk) 13:58, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
