Hello Cuzkatzimhut thank you very much for your welcome. I'm still learning all the conventions here so I appreciate the tutorial and your comment on my new article. I see your comment about not citing Wikipedia because it is a user-generated source, and that I should cite sources from the article I'm citing instead. I have asked a question at [[1]] for more clarification on if the blanket advice to not cite Wikipedia applies here. Thanks again for taking the time to welcome me and share information! Do you think the citation to Wikipedia is slowing down the review process for my article? Twistar48 (talk) 08:00, 9 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Eviolite was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Wikipedia is not a gallery. The text info/equation you have here is better off incorporated in existing articles, such as Atomic orbital.
eviolite (talk) 01:13, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Having this rejected must have been disappointing for you. As a retired chemistry academic and long time Wikipedia editor, I recommend that you take notice of the comments above. Prune down what you have written and add it to Atomic orbital, but take full notice of what is already there and do not duplicate material. Spend quite a while thinking about how to do it. --Bduke (talk) 07:59, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments on my talk page. It may take me a while to reply. --Bduke (talk) 03:22, 22 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
