DYK nom on Kaggaladu edit

Hello,

Thanks for creating the article on Kaggaladu. Just for your information, I have nominated a DYK on this article, by having the following hook.

I worked on the article to make it more encyclopediac, with relevant modifications in various sections, and add a reference. Please feel free to correct, if you see any issues. A picture or two would be a great value add for the article.

Also, I noticed that there was no article on Heronry, so went ahead and created a stub on that. If you have additional information, in general on Heronries, please add.

Thanks, - KNM Talk 01:30, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

June 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Nainital with this edit does not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.  TOW  talk  18:01, 15 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bandipur National Park. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.  Abhishek  Talk 03:36, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 9 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Major General Richard Stewart Dobbs, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shikari. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:01, 9 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. Nazeer Ahmed edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr. Nazeer Ahmed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://indianmuslimlegends.blogspot.com/2012/06/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
