Paid editing

Hello TrudiRose. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

I can assure you that I am not being paid. I am a music fan and I have followed Colin's music for years. A group of friends said someone should make him a page, so I looked at other DJs' pages and this is what I came up with. if you could give me a few examples other than Dave Clarke's which I used as a bassline - I will re-write it. Obviously you don't know me at all, but I am surprised that it seems like I am trying to make money as I am doing a very bad job at getting this done - which is why I am asking for advice TrudiRose (talk) 12:46, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
