Disruptive editing edit

Your first two edits here are inappropriate. You state that you "clarify" that Eric Zemmour is not far right here, but you clarified nothing; you simply removed well-sourced content. Then you edit warred to remove it again.[1] This is disruptive editing. You will be blocked if you do something like that again. Bishonen | tålk 07:06, 9 May 2022 (UTC).Reply

Eric Zemmour edit

duplicates the section above

(edit conflict) Please do not remove sourced content, as you did in these two edits at Éric Zemmour. The fact that Zemmour is a politician with far-right views is sourced by numerous reliable sources. Many analysts who look at French national politics place him to the right of far-right candidate Marine Le Pen. If you wish to change the description in the article as "far-right", you should open a discussion on the Talk page of the article, and try to gain a consensus for your views among other editors. But please don't just remove far-right from the article over and over, because that could be considered edit-warring. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at my Talk page. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 07:12, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

May 2022 edit

Hello, I'm NonsensicalSystem. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Black Liberation Army, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. NonsensicalSystem(error?)(.log) 12:32, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Final warning edit

The next time you add contentious material to an article while ignoring the talkpage, you will be blocked. Use Talk:Black Liberation Army to try to get consensus for calling the organization "terrorist", and do take a look at what's already there on that subject! You are interested in editing controversial articles and subjects, but have never touched a talkpage. That's not how Wikipedia is supposed to work. Bishonen | tålk 13:12, 18 May 2022 (UTC).Reply

June 2022 edit

Hi Topcat1066! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Kathy Boudin several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Kathy Boudin, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 13:26, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

A further word about your edits at Kathy Boudin: in this edit on 20 June, you linked another Wikipedia article in your edit summary, providing it, apparently, as evidence for why your preferred content at the Boudin article is the right one. However, you should be aware that self-published sources cannot be used as evidence of anything at Wikipedia, and in particular, Wikipedia itself is therefore not a reliable source because anyone can edit Wikipedia, as you have experienced yourself. Going forward, please base all of your edits at Wikipedia on the content of WP:Reliable sources, such as published books, magazines, academic journals, reputable newspapers, and certain websites found to be reliable due to their high standards of editing, sourcing, and peer review. If in doubt, please consult the Reliable sources noticeboard. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 17:45, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Topcat1066, you reverted an edit of mine and PDGPA's with very little explanation and no talk page engagement. Please use the article talk page and build consensus for disputed changes. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 02:59, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
