Hello, I'm MadGuy7023. Your recent edit to the page Strictly Come Dancing appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. MadGuy7023 (talk) 17:37, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. MadGuy7023 (talk) 20:36, 20 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2014 Chicago Bears season and 2014 Philadelphia Eagles season. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. Zzyzx11 (talk) 10:47, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Christmas traditions, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Strictly Come Dancing, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages James Jordan and Patrick Robinson. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to The X Factor (UK series 12). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MadGuy7023 (talk) 15:28, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Could you explain what you mean by "Please do not remove any information please"? Any edits to the page should be made with the purpose of improving the article and be subject to Wikipedia policy. Of course, improving the article may entail removing or adding information. You may also want to read Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Happy new year! — SamXS 19:32, 2 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Also, please don't change the date parameters of maintenance templates. The dates are meant to keep track of how long the templates have been in the article for maintenance purposes, and should not just be reset to the current date. For more information, see Template:Unreferenced section. — SamXS 19:37, 2 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. I hadn't seen that you added the section recently. I had assumed the the section was older, and that you were just changing the date parameter. Happy new year! — SamXS 20:15, 2 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

NFL playoffs

edit

I'm not really sure what your problem is, but the matchups for the second round of the NFC playoffs won't be set until tomorrow. If Dallas wins, they'll play Green Bay and Carolina will play Seattle. If Detroit wins, they'll play Seattle and Carolina will play Green Bay. But we won't know for sure until after that Cowboys/Lions game. So please stop. Speedy deletion nomination of AFC U-14 Championship

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on AFC U-14 Championship, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of 2016 AFC U-19 Championship

edit

The article 2016 AFC U-19 Championship has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:TOOSOON...

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Csaba Szirmai

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Csaba Szirmai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
