File:Alde.gif edit

I have tagged File:Alde.gif as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Image source problem with File:Bc greenparty small.gif edit

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded File:Bc greenparty small.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:13, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Orphaned non-free media (File:Epp 2005logo.png) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Epp 2005logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Better source request for File:AA_EVX_logo.gif edit

Thanks for uploading File:AA_EVX_logo.gif. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. OsamaK (talk) 12:06, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

GO Transit edit

I have just replaced the rail schematic originally entered by you in the article GO Transit, on 21 July 2007, with Template:GO Transit rail system. I have credited you as the original author. The information needed to be updated and now editing both the article and the template is much easier. Thank you for your work. - Secondarywaltz (talk) 23:20, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:John gomery.jpg edit

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading File:John gomery.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. High on a tree 20:34, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for File:Pcposmall2.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Pcposmall2.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:52, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Template:Infobox GO Transit rail edit

As an aside to that, I've been meaning to ask you about these changes to the GO infobox. While the result is nicely formatted, it is difficult for some readers whose eyes may not have great visual acuity (there's too much colour). I was thinking of toning it down by removing the background colour from the text, but retaining it for the line designator (eg - we would see a white "A" with red background, but "Lakeshore West" would be black on white). Good job on the clean up. We seem to have had similar thoughts about the clutter. My solution to the schematic Template:GO Transit rail system was to collapse the lines not the entire diagram. Sadly, the program code behind the templates keeps being messed with and at the moment the collapsibles don't match the regular - not too bad, but not quite correct (look at "km" shift). I have posted the collapsible version here with you because I don't want someone else to arbitrarily overwrite your previous work. If you can incorpoate any of what I have done - please do. I respect your maintenance work and will leave this with you. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 18:39, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

hi tom I see that in the infobox of User:The Tom/Kosovo you listed the cyrillic name before the albanian latin name
I think the albanian latin name should appear first beacuse the majority of the people in kosovo ( more than 94% ) are albanian .
When kosovo declares independence the serbian language will be an official language but it will be more of a secondary language , thats why I think the albanian latin should be first ( Please correct me if I am wrong ).Cheers --Leitz 17:23, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Kosovo relations.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kosovo and Belarus edit

I have both releases from the MFA and from Lukashenko and neither explicitly mention if they will recognize Kosovo as a state or not. That is what the key factor is for that article; we need explicit messages of yea or nay, instead of just making guess and connections. I am keeping my eye out, but nothing official has come out to say either yea or nay explicitly. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 20:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
