Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

Thanks and my best wishes.

Native Deen

I appreciate your comments in the deletion discussion on Native Deen, particularly the sources. I look forward to seeing your improvements on this article to ensure it is not nominated for deletion again.--RadioFan (talk) 00:30, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Rukia Begum

The article Rukia Begum has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable designer lacking non-trivial support. Fails WP:BIO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 00:13, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

I took down the PROD tag because the article was less than 24 hrs old at the time it was tagged. That said I agree with the concerns of the nominating editor. As written the article fails to establish notability and the sources fail WP:RS. If there is no improvement in a reasonable period of time it will likely be sent to WP:AfD. -Ad Orientem (talk) 00:44, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for you help but from my experience of Reddogsix, I would not bother wasting my time with requests of being fair and providing reasonable periods of time for improvement on articles. He/she is only interesting in one thing, deleting articles, here he/she PRODed the article within five minutes of it being created and AfDed it less than 20 minutes after you removed the PROD and contacted him/her. I have decided to speedy delete the article because I think someone else would have a better chance at recreating the article with better references, without an AfD delete consensus against it, take care. Nomination of Rukia Begum for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rukia Begum is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rukia Begum until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. reddogsix (talk) 00:50, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Jernade Miah (singer)

Hello Tanbircdq. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Jernade Miah (singer), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Same reason as before, please take it to WP:RFD as no speedy deletion criteria apply. Thank you. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 11:52, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks Tanbir

Thanks Tanbir, We have added many reliable sources, but we do not know why this "Flat out" want delete these articles. I think He is little bit racist. Now what can we do? There are many articles which have not got any sources, but our articles have a lot. I think that you know "Abu Sayed Ansari and Sheikh Abdur Rahman Madani" and they must have an article in wikipedia. Furthermore I created other articles about others things, where I did not added many sources but they aren't nominated for deletion, so it means that this " flat out" likes to delete bangladeshis and islamic articles. So could you do anything?? Thanks. Osvala (talk) 17:53, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Osvala please assume good faith and refrain from making personal attacks on other editors. I have nominated many articles for deletion on a wide range of attacks for the same reason - the subject isn't notable. Flat Out let's discuss it 02:37, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

deletion tag

Hellow tanbircdq, I made this article because that man is a notable man, anyway, after few days it will be deleted. Then a my friend made another article, and also that article is nominated for deletion. Now nothing to do, if every time we will make an article, it will be deleted, although I have added many references. So now I have to contact an admin that I know to make for another time this article. Unfortunately I am unlucky, i can not make any article about religious people. Thanks. Hasina Momtaz

Hi Tanbir

Thanks for setting up a Wiki page for me.

However, can you please note that my first name is Hasina and not Momtaz - my surname is Momtaz. I had edited this for accuracy and note is has been edited back. Can you kindly rectify this error please?

Also - I wondered where you had got some of the personal info from as it is not in the public domain? Its not a problem but i would like to know.

Im not really sure how to retrive your response from this page so would appreciate a reply back at hasina.momtaz@hotmail.com

Naming conventions

Hello, per the second to last paragraph of WP:NCPDAB we are encouraged to use commas when disambiguators include the subject's date of birth. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 19:31, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

My mistake, I've always thought the other way was the norm. I've reverted back the ones I've moved and have found several others that incorrectly don't use the commas. Thanks for letter me know, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 21:21, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
I don't believe so, all the ones I've moved have been done manually. Mattythewhite (talk) 10:57, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Page moves

Hi Tanbircdq. Thanks for the page moves, but could I request that when you move them, you also update the links on any templates on the page? For example, your move of Sebastián Fernández (footballer, born 1989) left a redirect on {{Vancouver Whitecaps FC squad}}. Thanks, Number 57 08:23, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation

A CheckUser has confirmed that you have operated that User:YousufMiah account. Before I take any administrative action I'd like to give you a chance to explain yourself on the sockpuppet investigation page. Please make a statement as soon as you can. Thank you, Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 14:13, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry

I have blocked your sockpuppet account indefinitely per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tanbircdq. I'm also warning you that any use of sockpuppet or accounts will very likely result in an indefinite block with little chance of unblock after this warning. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 11:30, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

Your sockpuppet's account has been blocked indefinitely.

Your sockpuppet's account has been blocked indefinitely. I don't understand how a muslim like you can lie in this month of Ramadan. However you have still this account, so you are very lucky and you can still enjoy. I will not gain anything if the admins block also this account. I have just discovered that most of List of British Bangladeshis's articles were created from you. (BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHY YOUR BODY TAKES FIRE WHEN I CREATE ARTICLES ABOUT BRITISH BANGLADESHI MUSLIM'S SCHOLAR) From now on try to be a good editor. May Allah give you tawfeeq. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.161.105.82 (talk) 18:49, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

Excuse me but when did I lie? I admitted my contravention here, unlike you who has created 10s of accounts and refused to answer for yourself at all in this investigation.
What have I done to give you the impression that I have a problem with you creating an article about a British Bangladeshi Muslim scholar? Did I nominate any of your articles for deletion? Did I vote for any of them to be deleted? No, because I did not want them to be deleted. See here and here where I actually tried to help you and, you re-payed me by trying to get me blocked here and here. Why have you chosen to single me out from the many other editors who you have commented about your sockpuppetry and got you blocked many times? And why have you developed a vengeful vendetta against me?
Why don't you take a good look at your own actions before you judge others? Like here when you accused another editor User talk:Flat Out of being racist without any evidence and despite being warned by him here, you then you had the impudence to ask him if he is racist here. OK, I will try to be a good editor in-sha-Allah but maybe you should try to take some of your own advice as well. Tanbircdq (talk) 19:55, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Why you did not vote to keep those articles? Now you created another strange SPI. Try to be a good editor like the greeneditor 217.42.231.23 (talk) 13:22, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
I did not !vote to keep those articles because there was no basis for me to do that according to Wikipedia guideline, otherwise I would have. No other editor voted for either articles to be kept, what do you think that consensus tells you?
I think you will find that this investigation was created by User:Callanecc, because you messaged him requesting for him to block me here. I don't see anything strange about the investigation but if you do message him about it not me. I'm just trying to be a good editor (just like you told me to) so I will report about anything relating to the investigation.
By the way User:TheGreenEditor has retired. What are you suggesting, that I should follow your great example of being a great editor? Tanbircdq (talk) 13:55, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
I thought that blocking you for 1 month is better. However you are very lucky, the admin just warned you. Anyway, continue to be a good editor and a good muslim. I try to avoid sockpuppetry (i asked forgiveness to an admin and he said me to wait few month). Take care, and try to marry quickly, you are nearly older. See you, fiamanillah! 109.154.90.240 (talk) 15:10, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
No, you wanted me blocked out of revenge for the comments I made about you on the sockpuppet investigation about you, be honest about it, like you said it is not good to lie (especially during Ramadhan), is there no end to your narcissism and hypocrisy? Yeah it is not very good for a Muslim to seek revenge of another or call someone a racist like you have, is it?
I am not lucky, as per Wikipedia:Sock_puppetry#Blocking, it is the discretion of any uninvolved administrator to block the main account, which he chose not to do because (unlike you) I admitted my error. Well, it only took you all of three months and two weeks to finally learn from your mistakes. I don't need you to tell me to be a good editor, I'll leave that to an experienced admin.
Haha, are you being serious? Who are you to tell me to get married? My dad? My personal life does not concern you in any way whatsoever, thank you very much. Tanbircdq (talk) 17:30, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
Keep calm! It was only a suggestion. Why are you became so angry? I told you that because you have written in your user page that yo Uare single and heterosexual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.149.79.252 (talk) 19:21, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
what did you say? Think about your articles. You have created too many articles about some bangladeshi who are not famous. Most of your artcles don't have realiable source and too many references. My one is better then yours. Now if I nominate for deletion most of your aticles, none will vote to keep for them. Do you want see it? You are very strange — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.154.90.168 (talk) 10:16, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
I am calm, what made you think I was angry? Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a platform for you to turn into an Islamic forum. There are also guidelines and policies on WP:No personal attacks and WP:Harassment as well as WP:Block evasion which I suggest you take the time to read along with others that you have previously been provided with.
Therefore, I do not need you making suggestions about my personal life or giving advice on religious affairs. What I write on my user page regarding my marital status, sexuality or anything else is not of your concern or your business, so please keep your inappropriate opinions to yourself. I am not quite sure how you can think that comment by you was a normal one to make, if you went up to some random stranger and made that remark they would probably be very insulted and offended by you, and may react in a similar way to me.
Anyway it would seem that this is turning into a bit of a WP:BATTLEGROUND and we are not being very WP:CIVIL to each other. I think you may be bringing out the worst in me and I am probably not seeing you in your best light. So unless you want to discuss anything relating to Wikipedia articles, I do not have the patience to waste anymore time exchanging pointless comments with you, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 10:23, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi, Alhamdulillah Ramadan is going well, may Allah accept in-sha-Allah. I live on Earth in a building with four walls and a roof. I have a question for you:
  • Here you said to me "I don't understand how a muslim like you can lie in this month of Ramadan." Ramadan this year is (from 28/29 June until 27/28 July 2014).
  • Here you said; "I try to avoid sockpuppetry (i asked forgiveness to an admin and he said me to wait few month.)"
  • Your sockpuppet account User:Bogoliopo (your 48th account, after you made an edit here on 11 July) and User:Doelanha (your 49th account, after it was created on 13 July).
I am sure most people would agree that this is hypocrisy but my question to you is; IS THIS NOT LYING DURING RAMADAN? Tanbircdq (talk) 19:30, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
NO! I wrote I "try...". Bogoliopo was created before ramadan, and DOELANHA after ramadan. But What can I do? Sometime I have to edit wikipedia, especially where there are written fake things. However, this war between you and me started few days ago. Remember that you started before. here I thanked you and asked only your help, but not personal attacks, and only for it you started to report me. Make duwa for brothers and sisters of Gaza. May Allah give us Sabr to deal. 31.52.142.233 (talk) 13:46, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
OK, you are right but maybe you should TRY harder though. You operated both accounts during Ramadan; that is sockpuppetry. I only set up that last report to prove a point, now if stop getting in my way then I will leave you alone. I sincerely do not wish to war with you anymore and I hope there are no hard feelings.
Yes I could not agree with more, I was going to mention something last Friday. It is heart-breaking what is happening in Gaza and this time many people of different backgrounds are feeling it. The Muslim Ummah is like one body; if one part of the body hurts, the whole body feels the pain. May Allah accept our duas, strengthen the effort and awareness, and make it easy for those suffering, take care, salaam. Tanbircdq (talk) 16:05, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

Right, we can not always discuss about our ridicolous litigation. Now is the time to save muslim of all wolrd, especially Palestine, I will try with mu ip address to edit and add somethig here on wikipedia about israeli massacring, try also you to add something in wikipedia bout this massacring. May Allah help people of Gaza and destroy this israeli army. Wassalam, see you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.52.138.244 (talk) 02:15, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Assalamualykum, i created another this new account, allahor dohai lage, do not report me. However i saw that you created other new article about bangali, which is good. You also copied abu sayed ansarey from me (hukjol) and created for another time. Do not worry, i am thanking you. I will try to make some article in microsoft word and then i will send you, and you will paste and create them. Is it ok? I also tried to create dr abul kalam azad, so please copy all those things that i wrote and create another real one. If you do not find it, let me know. You can see that I also wrote something against this Israeli and wrote some good thing about gaza. You english is very good than me and you are using wikipedia for many years, so please update about this war in palestine. You know that zionist destroed a big mosque, the biggest hospital and a bi university, write these think. Let me know and reply me. See you inshallah and take care. 8uwhddhoidjoi (talk) 19:06, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

I do not use Wikipedia for the purpose of propagating my own personal religious or political views, I try to stay neutral on all subjects. I use social media such as Twitter or Facebook for this purpose instead. I am afraid Dr Abdul Kalam Azad does not meet the notability requirements for inclusion on Wikipedia. If you try to create an article for him it will likely get deleted, so I would advise that you do not waste your time writing one of him. To learn more about Wikipedia, I suggest you take the time to read the following pages (which I have already provided you with before). .
You are operating ‎8uwhddhoidjoi (talk · contribs) as well as Ulopodoko (talk · contribs), Rimidogla (talk · contribs) these are your 50th, 51st and 52nd accounts on Wikipedia (all of which you created yesterday). This is very disappointing that you have not learned your lesson regarding sockpuppetry. I will not report you but I am pretty sure that eventually someone else will, meaning all these accounts will be blocked. I feel that your disregard and defiance for Wikipedia rules and regulations is not only dishonest but disgraceful. If you have any integrity then you would try to get your indefinite siteban overturned as explained in WP:OFFER (which has already been explained to you by User:Salvio giuliano (here). Rules are there for a reason and to be respected, NOT to be continually broken. If you continue to sockpuppet then I do not wish to engage with you any further, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 18:01, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

Dear tanbir, you can not tell say that dr abul k azad does not meet requirement in wiki. You told me the same thing in abu sayed anseri's article. But now you copied all my thing and created another one. Regarding Palestine, i also use facebook and twitter about these thing. I also told to some some people of facebook to use wikpedia, and they strated to do so, but the problem is that they are new editors so are not able to do many things, but you are using wiki form many years, and you many things, so i think you should use wiki for it. Anyway, it is your choiche. Take care. See you. 217.42.231.31 (talk) 14:02, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

I see you appear to have ignored/failed to respond to my comment about your sockpuppetry. Actually I did not say the same thing about Abu Sayed Ansary, I said this about the Abdur Rahman Madani article (which I am not convinced meets the notability criteria) but like I said I don't want the article deleted any more than you don't. If you do not wish to read any of the links I recommend, at the very least read this very short essay; Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything.
Regarding Palestine, I avoid writing articles that requires me to keep up-to-date as situations change all the time. I prefer to edit articles which once done can be complete for long periods of time and require me to spend less time having to revisit it, which enables me to move onto other articles. Also, please read WP:Advocacy, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 21:00, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

Awakening records updates. Why are they deleted?

Hello,

I can't seem but notice that you deleted the edits I made to Awakening Records page more than once although the old version contains mistakes with dates and current status of artists. I hope you can tell me the reason for this. By the way I work as a PR and Online Media Manager at Awakening so it's a part of my job to provide Wikipedia with accurate information — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salmaawakening (talkcontribs) 19:00, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi, yes I deleted the edits because you removed all the independent, reliable sources which in fact makes the article notable for inclusion on Wikipedia including articles from The Guardian and The Huffington Post, and you also removed some of the external links. However, I have since integrated the information from your edits about the infobox to the old revision, only for you to revert my edit again. You have also added a lot of WP:PUFFERY from self-published sources such as YouTube and websites of the artists, these are not valid references in this context. Judging by your username I was aware that you clearly have a conflict of interest which is against Wikipedia aims of being neutral, reliably sourced as you have admitted that your are using Wikipedia to promote the interests of your employers.
Your edits appear to be promotional, with original research, the tone is of a non-neutral point of view and it is not supported by verifiable reliable sources. I understand that you are a new editor therefore I provided you links on your userpage, I suggest you read these and bear in mind that other editors are involved in editing the article, not just yourself, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 21:00, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello,

I don't see a conflict of interests if my goal is to provide accurate information. If the tone is not neutral and there's a promotional tone then I'd welcome that feedback and make appropriate edit. But you were undoing my whole edits that has the "correct" information!

For instance: - The company was founded in 2003 not 2000. You undid my edit for that a couple of times.

- Three founders are who founded the company not one.

- The company's description changed. It's not describing it as "Islamic Music" anymore but "faith-inspired" and "value driven" music. I tried to change that a couple of times but you undid my revision.

I appreciate that you have notified me of using more sources other than self-published. I'll be adding to that. But what was crucial as a first step and a newbie in editing was to provide the reader with correct information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salmaawakening (talkcontribs) 07:36, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Labbayk Nasheed Group

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Labbayk Nasheed Group, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://searchmp3.mobi/labbayk.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Tagging the TFA

Don't tag something if you aren't going to discuss it on the talkpage, and in particular, don't tag the TFA unless you have a substantive concern that you can support with a talkpage discussion. Drive-by tagging of this kind is unhelpful, and the TFA is not a place to debate lede length via tags. Acroterion (talk) 20:36, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Labbayk Nasheed Group

A tag has been placed on Labbayk Nasheed Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Hamza Yusuf

Hi Tanbircdq,

I hope you are well.

As a recent contributor to the Hamza Yusuf article, I was wondering if you could have a look at the discussion me and another editor have been having. Initially, the discussion centred on whether the phrase "scholar" should be used. It has now evolved so that the user:HelpGod believes the phrase "non-academic scholar" should be used whereas I feel that "scholar" should be used. The discussion is here.

Thanks RookTaker (talk) 11:38, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I have added my comments. In future, you may wish consider WP:THIRDOPINION, thanks, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 14:01, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi Tanbircdq - thanks for that. I will consider WP:THIRDOPINION in the future. RookTaker (talk) 17:30, 22 December 2014 (UTC)

Umar

Dear User:Tanbircdq, I hope you are well. I've been working hard on the Umar page to copy edit the clumsy and repetitive written expression and to add appropriate temples. Another editor has started reverting EVERYTHING. Can you please take a look. Thank and regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 07:45, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi, the issues in contention appear to be matters of opinion over fact, this requires collaboration on both sides to come to an agreement. The editor appears to be a newcomer who make not be aware of WP:POV and appears to have misunderstood your reasons for making these edits.
I can see that you have attempted to start a discussion on the talk page regarding the issues and the editor has replied on your user talk page. I would suggest you refer him to continue the discussion on the article talk page and hopefully other editors can also provide their opinion, take care. Tanbircdq (talk) 14:30, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
