National varieties of English edit

I see you have changed the spelling in articles to American, for articles without strong ties to the US. According to the Manual of style MOS:ENGVAR: "The English Wikipedia prefers no national variety of the language over any other." "When an English variety's consistent usage has been established in an article, maintain it in the absence of consensus to the contrary." Boivie (talk) 08:21, 14 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay edit

I agree, they should revert some of my edits. Syncro26152XL (talk) 14:02, 14 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted your 19 August 2018 changes to Toyota Vitz for the same reasons as given above. Changing the variety of English used on a particular page is not allowed because it usually turns into turf wars.  Stepho  talk  03:03, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Well, I made my 20 August edit to Holden Caprice/Statesman as there was a typo. Syncro26152XL (talk) 17:36, 19 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Changing ENGVAR edit

Please remember that the only reason to change ENGVAR is because of either a consensus to do so or MOS:TIES. If an article as no special connection to any nationality/English variety, it should keep the first variety used (MOS:RETAIN). Regards. --Urbanoc (talk) 22:40, 23 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay. This is my last time I do this. Syncro26152XL (talk) 23:30, 23 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

GTI Racing moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, GTI Racing, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 08:51, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thanks. Syncro26152XL (talk) 14:28, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I'm interested in creating GTI racing. Could u add here some info? Brainfrogk4mon (talk) 16:33, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
No, I'm currently blocked, I can't create/edit pages right now and I'm still waiting for my block to get appealed. However, I can add information about GTI Racing in this talk page if you want. Syncro26152XL (talk) 17:52, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

MESSAGE DELETED

September 2018 edit

Hello, I'm LakesideMiners. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Draft:GTI Racing— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Lakeside Out!-LakesideMinersClick Here To Talk To Me! 15:38, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Okay. No more vandalism for now. Syncro26152XL (talk) 15:39, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
If your article was declined by AFC, do not move it to mainspace yourself without addressing any of the issues. This article simply has no reliable secondary sourcing or indication of being notable. Get it through AFC. -- ferret (talk) 22:00, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
No thank you. Syncro26152XL (talk) 22:52, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:ferret. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. You can stop this and working your draft until it's acceptable for mainspace, or you can continue with the personal attacks and threats to ignore policy, and you'll end up blocked. You do not own articles, and your consent is not necessary to apply policy to it. -- ferret (talk) 22:58, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Since I'm here, you can also stop changing date formats and English variants on various car articles. MOS:DATERET and MOS:RETAIN say to retain the existing format without a strong national tie ("sold in the US" is not a strong national tie) or a discussion to achieve a consensus to change. -- ferret (talk) 23:08, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I got warned multiple times about ENGVAR. I should immediately stop harassing and changing English variants. Syncro26152XL (talk) 01:02, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
By the way, why you undid my edits even if they ARE constructive? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Syncro26152XL (talkcontribs) 00:50, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
If I undid one or two valid edits, it's simply due to the massive number of invalid edits you've done that had to be corrected, nothing more. Doesn't really matter since immediately following this, you made another MOS:RETAIN issue. -- ferret (talk) 01:14, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

RE: Ferret edit

Sadly, I have to leave contributing in Wikipedia. They kept reverting my edits because of MOS:RETAIN and MOS:DATERET. Unfortunately, I'll leave Wikipedia for now. Sorry! Syncro26152XL (talk) 03:29, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

PS: I forgot to menton that also they kept reverting my edits also of WP:ENGVAR. Syncro26152XL (talk) 15:17, 26 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 01:13, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

My last message and goodbye edit

First of all, I thank all of the Wikipedia admins for making this encyclopedia great. Everything started in July 27th, 2018, when I made an edit to the Renault Safrane article. I made an edit to the Volkswagen Atlas article, but it got undid immediately, and I made an edit to the Honda BR-V article. I kept changing WP:ENGVAR from Fiat Siena to Honda HR-V, when I got blocked for persistently doing multiple WP:ENGVAR issues for 2 weeks (September 27th - October 10th). I joined the Super Mario Wiki on August 4th, 2018 on the Locomotionless article. Later, I've kept my focus on that wiki. For now, I'll stop changing and causing trouble with WP:ENGVAR, MOS:RETAIN, and MOS:DATERET. With that, I'll say goodbye for the last time. Syncro26152XL (talk) 17:55, 11 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Replied on my talk page, but in case you aren't following it my response is duplicated below.
In the case of Chevrolet Celebrity, "headlamp" is the correct term per the headlamp article.
As for Hyundai Accent, please read this section of the Manual of Style. When an article is written in British English, it should not be changed to American English (or vice versa) except where the topic has intrinsic ties to one region or the other. Since the Accent was a Korean car sold in several English-speaking markets, there are no national ties to any one, so the existing variety of English stands as-is. --Sable232 (talk) 21:00, 20 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
For Celebrity, it was sold in North America and it should not have the "headlamp" term.
And for Accent, simply, I changed British standards to American ones, but got reverted.
I'm sorry but this is the real last time I do this. Syncro26152XL (talk) 22:57, 20 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

October 2018 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 00:49, 21 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
You asked "why" on Commons (which is inappropriate), but I believe the block reason is clear enough: CIR issues, repeated MOS:RETAIN issues despite numerous warnings, past block, and direct promises to stop. It's obvious that you don't have any real desire to contribute but just to change spellings, and you continue to do so against guidelines despite the numerous warnings and blocks. -- ferret (talk) 18:19, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
I won't do that anymore since my block in October. Syncro26152XL (talk) 04:44, 11 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tuesday 3 December 2019 - The truth about all my IP addresses, how did I got familiarized with UK spellings, and all what I have done. edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hello again. I know it's too late to appeal, since it's been a year since I went blocked, and I returned to appeal my block for various reasons. Ever since my first edit at the Renault Safrane article, I was there to briefly add info about vehicles, but in 4th of August of 2018, on an edit to the Opel Corsa article, it came to the time that I went to change UK spellings to US spellings UNTIL I was blocked for the second time in the same year after making an edit to the Hyundai Accent article. Even worse, I called said admin an "idiot" back after my edit got reverted. I admit that I did violate the MOS:RETAIN, MOS:DATERET, and WP:ENGVAR rules. When I got blocked, I evaded said block using two IP addresses, which is not right, and when my two IP addresses were blocked, I went ahead and familiarized myself with the encyclopedia's rules, and, familiarised myself with UK spellings as well. This IP address, which is 189.139.234.63, amongst other IP addresses which I forgot, was actually myself, and I did evade the block using multiple IP addresses from January to December 2019, almost a year. Now, I am here to add information about car launchments to the Mexican market, amongst other things. My behaviour is no longer the same as I did in 2018. I promise to do good faith edits again, not changing UK spellings to US spellings. If my block gets rejected, I'll, rather than making ridiculous threats, stay as is, blocked. I agree with many people here, like Ferret, it was never right to change UK to US spellings. Syncro26152XL (talk) 00:58, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Please read the standard offer. If you go six months without block evasion, we will consider an unblock request. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:38, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Thanks for the information of my appeal's decline, NinjaRobotPirate. I will wait patiently till June of 2020, however, I should not evade my block using IP addresses. Syncro26152XL (talk) 19:28, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, it's me again. So I have waited over 6 months to appeal an unblock again and I think I have been a bit too late to appeal. I will follow Wikipedia's rules and I'm here to contribute on this encyclopedia to add information about cars sold in my country. Syncro26152XL (talk) 02:52, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Accept reason:

It's been over 2 years, I'll trust you're pledge to edit in positive ways. Be VERY mindful of WP:ENGVAR, and never edit war to install your preferred version. Unblock discussed with blocking admin, and unblocked without objection. — Ched (talk) 11:23, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
