Rudolf Alstadt edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Rudolf Alstadt, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Rudolf Altstadt. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:35, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Machine translation edit

In creating Hüseyin Kemal Gürmen, you appear to have used a machine translation of a foreign language source (probably Turkish). Wikipedia guidelines on translation warn that dropping an unmodified machine translation into the English language Wikipedia is worse than no article at all because machines do a terrible job at translating most foreign languages into English. This is especially true in the case of your article, which makes almost no sense at all. I've cleaned up the translation as best I could, but I had to remove over half of the article because no sense at all could be made of it. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:13, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tim Horton.jpg edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Tim Horton.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from {{{value1}}}. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Pages for years and sports trivia edit

Please do not add trivial sports events to the articles for years. Please try to remember that what may seem momentous to a fan of that sport in that country can be utter trivia to almost all other people from other countries with other interests. Sports should only be on the list if they are of genuinely significant international interest. There are articles with names like "(year) in sport". Those are a better place to put sports events. I am not sure if some of the items you are added are too trivial even for that though, so please be cautious. As a general rule, if the event does not have an article then it should not go on the lists at all.

I have just spent more than an hour cleaning up the articles you edited. Please be more careful in future! --DanielRigal (talk) 19:39, 4 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Please stop adding sports trivia. I don't want to waste all my time removing it and I know you can do other things than this (and I have tried to take care not to revert your non sports trivia entries) so please find something else to do. --DanielRigal (talk) 21:38, 4 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Are you reading this at all? If so, please stop adding sports trivia to articles about years. There are year in sport articles which you can edit instead if you can get over your obsessive focus on a single sport.
As it stands you are wasting your time and mine. Everything you are adding is just getting removed. This isn't helping anybody. Please stop. Please rethink. Sources needed for Days of the Year pages edit

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages are no longer exempt from WP:V and direct sources are required for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. March 2020 edit

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on October 16 ‎. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Toddst1 (talk) 01:11, 3 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Category:Deaths from fire in Denmark edit

Hello, I've deleted this category you created back in 2015 because it is not at all within the proper category structure nor does it have any precedents, except Category:Deaths from fire in the United States. A category system like this should be created properly or not at all. I have moved its only entry, Else Højgaard, to the appropriate categories that many people will actually be able to find.
