Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Jorhat has been reverted.
Your edit here to Jorhat was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5279/5887439226_7e08d42d3d_b.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Nonconstructive edits in the article Jorhat!

edit

Mr Das,

Please avoid nonconstructive edits in the Jorhat Wiki page! Your recent edits are redundant in nature that appears from the fact of overemphasis on the term "City" to describe the Urbanity in Jorhat! When the article is read, the topic Jorhat seems to get diluted by reiterated term of City. The article is on Jorhat and not on what is called a City or Town!!! Please avoid such vandalism as it is degrading the content of Wiki page. Also, to be realized that City may be conveniently used against Metropolis and not to District HQ or bigger towns... And most importantly the articles must conform to the regional understanding of the community and hence insensible movement of an existing article to a new title can't be tolerated! For example - though NY (New York) is commonly referred as New York City however, the article has not been titled as such and it simply appears New York... The same analogy can be drawn for many other places. I would request you not to make such childish unnecessary edits that degrades the quality of writing standards. That said, the constructive edits are always welcome. Please refrain yourself from making such unwanted and insensible edits or else a ticket would be raised to block the User ID! FYI, article has been moved back to JORHAT <-- Jorhat City! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rex86 (talkcontribs) 22:39, 3 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Dipankar Vidyapith, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages English and Assamese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
