Just about your complaint with the colon edit

I think if you put a space in front of it it works, ie : :) which indents it by one:

:)

I'm not sure how to make it work not indented, though. -A lad insane (Channel 2) 14:39, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

:) OK, thanks very much! I never thought of that. :) SunChaser (talk) 07:17, 25 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

:) Yesterday I found something in the Advanced section of the editing bar which says "No wiki formatting" (the symbol is a W with a red circle and line drawn through it), and I'm using it now and it seems to work .... SunChaser (talk) 04:14, 26 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Message edit

Hello, not sure why you Undid revision 829868712 for The Australian. The quote I included from the Royal Commission was a direct, factual quote, as opposed to the opinionated "all allegations were dropped". Gillard was never charged or formally accused, so it cannot be said that "all allegations were dropped". That is a POV assertion. It was put in another para because it dealt with the aftermath/final outcome of the AWU Affair. Apollo1986 (talk) 08:43, 11 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Roger East (journalist) edit

Can you and the other WP:Australia people help me with Roger East (journalist) ? He deserves a better article. Paul Benjamin Austin (talk) 17:13, 11 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Paul Benjamin Austin, my advice would be to post this request on Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board. Good luck! SunChaser (talk) 07:46, 12 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mary Fairfax etc edit

Regarding whether Mary Fairfax's house is in Double Bay or Point Piper, both Gregory's and UBD show the boundary between Double Bay and Point Piper as being at the far west end of Seven Shillings Beach; the Fairfax house is immediately east of this boundary, putting it in Point Piper. Thank you.
