An Automated Message from HagermanBot edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 03:27, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. An article you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. KJS77 20:09, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am truly sorry. What i meant to do was to test it out to see if I can edit it first, cause i been autoblocked yesterday. Right now I fixed it and created what I meant to create.

Angela Hazeldine edit

Dear Sir: My edits to Angela Hazeldine helped that page. They were not vandalism. How does adding categories and a reference source (IMDb) where there formerly was none constitute vandalism??

I am rv my edit back. Contact an administrator if you have any further problems.

Sincerely, IPhoebusApollo 19:52, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Abuse of Illegal Drugs edit

I've redirected that page to drug abuse since it clearly constitutes an unnecessary content fork. Pascal.Tesson 02:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Decision edit

I made a decision that three of your decision making stubs were better treated as redirects. You can compare and contrast them in the decision making article. Responsible Decision Making (why the caps?) on the other hand is too much of an essay / how-to guide. I suggest you put that into Wikibooks or your own website. -- RHaworth 14:44, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edit to Chincho (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. June 2007 edit

Please refrain from removing the header or making bad edits at the Wikipedia Sandbox. You are free to edit the sandbox, but please leave the header alone and do as it asks you to.--Trampton 01:42, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

kk. Sorry I wasn't paying attention because I was trying to leave my message on and reverting the whole thing is the quickest way to do it lol. [[Priston Tale master]] 01:45, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's okay.--Trampton 01:46, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Abuse of Illegal Drugs edit

A tag has been placed on Abuse of Illegal Drugs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

The person who keeps on creating this page after it keeps on getting redirected is unaware that maybe he should put this in the article drug abuse or actually rewrite it so it sounds intelligent instead of just a poorly designed list. It was previously redirected several times!

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mike6271 18:44, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

EVERYTHING/PAGE

A tag has been placed on EVERYTHING/PAGE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Stealthrabbit Say it, baby, say it! 01:29, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Little context in Proactive decision making edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Proactive decision making, by Discgolfrules (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Proactive decision making is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Proactive decision making, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Proactive decision making itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:48, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ancient Rome -- Military edit

I reverted the edits you made to this section of this article on June 11, 2007, except for one which I modified and retained. Courtesy suggests that I explain:

1. The changes to the description of "maniples" didn't seem to add anything significant. The grammar was incorrect.

2. The information concerning trumpet signals did not fit the scope of the article, which is intended to be a general overview. Command and control is a legitimate topic but is best treated as part of one of the more detailed articles on the Roman army, not here.

I suggest that you might profitably invest a bit of time working through some of the editing tutorials. Try "Wikipedia:Tutorial" and "Wikipedia:How to edit a page". There are also "Wikipedia:Cheatsheet" and "Help:Wikitext examples" that would be good for you to review. You can find these by searching on these terms. You should also be aware that Wikipedia has a lot of customs and rules of etiquette that aren't necessarily written down but that old timers expect you (and me) to observe. Just like real life. Speedy deletion of King Harold-vessel edit

A tag has been placed on King Harold-vessel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Bill Richardson edit

Hi, SteveNash11! I've reverted your edit to Bill Richardson (radio) for a couple reasons. First, you deleted the disambiguation link at the top of the article. Second, Richardson is listed as one of the contributers to the book "Seminal: The Anthology of Canada's Gay Male Poets". Therefore, the line "Richardson is openly gay" is referenced and a suitable bit of information to keep in the article. If you have any other questions or comments, I recommend leaving them on the article's talk page. Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 22:51, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your hard work is about to be deleted from Wikipedia edit

The article you created, Proactive decision making is about to be deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster your respond, the better chance the article you created can be saved. This is because deletion debates only stay open for a few days, and the first comments are usually the most important.

There are several tools and other editors who can help you keep the page from being deleted forever:

  1. You can list the page up for deletion on Article Rescue Squadron. If you need help listing your page, add a comment on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
  2. You can request a mentor to help explain to you all of the complex rules that editors use to get a page deleted, here: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond on the deletion page.
  3. When try to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
Here is a list of your own acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
Acronyms in deletion debates are sometimes incorrectly used, or ignore rules or exceptions.

If your page is deleted, you still have many options available. travb (talk) 01:34, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
