File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Mimi Chakraborty 2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 17:15, 18 April 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:15, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mimi Chakraborty

edit

The article Mimi Chakraborty has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. By all means write an article about her, but you copied it from [1]. Please write based on reliable sources, but not plagiarising them. Here's a reference to start you off:[2] Fences&Windows 23:23, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Uddesho Nei

edit

Hello Soum91. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Uddesho Nei".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Uddesho Nei}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 23:13, 29 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jessore Boat Club

edit

Hello Soum91,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jessore Boat Club for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

edit

--আফতাব (talk) 02:12, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

--Soum91 (talk) 14:05, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
--আফতাব (talk) 14:44, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
--Soum91 (talk) 16:06, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Metropolitan Courts moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Metropolitan Courts, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ArbCom 2018 election voter message

edit

Hello, Soum91. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please read the template that you are edit-warring back into place and you will see that it obviously does not apply. Phil Bridger (talk) 12:10, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

None of the references give any information about personal details about the person. All of them are academic information. Those references are not enough for a biographical article about a living person. Moreover the product is not worldwide known or public figure. And how the user that created the article knows the person’s personal details when none of provided references give any such information.

And why are you repeatedly removing the tag with adding additional references? I think this article should be tagged for COI too. And speedy deletion tag would suit more! Soum91 (talk) 13:05, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

The {{prod blp}} template is perfectly clearly written, and only applies when there is no source present that supports any of the article content. This already has loads of such sources, so there is no need for me to add any. And this article is about a person known for her academic work. so of course it concentrates on academic information rather than her blood group or favourite colour. This article was mainly written by User:Jesswade88, who is a registered editor (so that part of your edit summary was a lie) and who has written many Wikipedia articles and writes under her own name, so there is no conflict of interest here. Why have you taken such an interest in this particular article, to the extent that it is the only article you have edited this year and you have edit-warred over a deletion tag? Phil Bridger (talk) 13:19, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Much stalking! And edit-war? Maybe you started it? I came across with the article and thought it as a candidate for deletion. The article creator or other contributors could remove the tag with an explanation but no, you removed it out of nowhere without any explanation! And kept removing the tag! According to your logic there should 7billion biographic articles on wiki! At least for those who have ever published any journal! And about your allegation of me lying in the first edit summary? Well, not fully my fault I think! I was browsing from mobile browser and it showed unregistered user IP as sole contributor to the article! It didn’t show the original article creator! I had to dig it up after you mentioned about the original author’s user ID! Soum91 (talk) 14:42, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

I gave my reason for contesting the tag perfectly clearly in the edit summary. You were the one who then re-reverted without explanation. And, as for the rest of that rant, can you please base what you say on facts, which anyone can easily check, rather than some dream-world of yours. Please don't treat Wikipedia as a battleground, but as an encyclopedia that is created by the collaborative efforts of editors. Phil Bridger (talk) 15:22, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
