Great job on this article about Paul Dibb. Did you know that it is a great candidate to be featured in the Did You Know section on the front page of wikipedia. I recommend you nominate it. Message me if you need help. - — አቤል ዳዊት?(Janweh64) (talk) 07:45, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

January 2017

Hello, I'm Ryk72. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Government of Australia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Specifically, the claim that the Governor General is the head of state; this is unsourced, and unsourceable. Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 05:02, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Copying licensed material requires proper attribution

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Cabinet Secretary (Australian minister) you included material from a webpage that is available under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia license. That's okay, but you have to give attribution. I've added it for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this legal requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:13, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Paul Dibb

edit

On 15 February 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Paul Dibb, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Paul Dibb formulated an eponymous report of Australia’s defence capabilities? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Paul Dibb. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Paul Dibb), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

edit

Hello, SocieteInternationale. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
