Proposed deletion of Mathew Cerletty

edit

The article Mathew Cerletty has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bihco (talk) 16:55, 6 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Lists

edit

Please learn to format lists. A list like this: Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4

is much harder to read than a list like this:

  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3
  • Item 4

This can be used when listing artists' exhibitions, or when listing the external links in an article.

Happy editing. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:22, 12 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Algus Greenspon

edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Algus Greenspon, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Algus Greenspon Gallery. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 21:33, 12 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

This facility is an art gallery -- it should retain the word "gallery" in the article title. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:38, 12 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Emily Sundblad

edit

Hello Sallysays22,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Emily Sundblad for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Josh1024 (talk) 20:56, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi,

I have just read your comments on the talk page of Emily Sundblad. Sorry I didn't realise that you were still contributing to your article and thought you had just left it (some people do that). I have withdrawn the speedy deletion tag and added the appropriate construction tag.

Thanks,

E'wao Kagoshima

edit

Hello Sallysays22,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, E'wao Kagoshima, may be copied from http://algusgreenspon.com/exhibitions/ewao-kagoshima/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 21:32, 14 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Bill Bollinger may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Speedy deletion nomination of E'wao Kagoshima

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on E'wao Kagoshima requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://algusgreenspon.com/exhibitions/ewao-kagoshima/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. MER-C 12:59, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Facade, courtesy of Algus Greenspon Gallery.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Facade, courtesy of Algus Greenspon Gallery.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:35, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
