Disambiguation link notification for December 30
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Midian, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Matthew (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Alfred Newman birthdate
editI see where you reverted my birthday edit back from 1901 to 1900 for Alfred Newman. It appears there is a dispute as to his correct birthdate. In light of the dispute, could you put a note in the first sentence. In the "In early life" paragraph it states that Fred Steiner has established his year of birth as 1901. That sentence seems to decide the date of birth issue. Then if you read the "Death" paragraph, it says he died at the age of 68. If you are correct with his birth year as 1900, then his age of death would be 69 being 70 in a month. When I changed the first sentence from 1900 to 1901, the article was then consistent in all three places. Whatever date is used, it should be consistent throughout the article. Would you change the article to be consistent with a 1900 birth? I don't care or want to argue over the issue. This note to you is just to ask to correct the whole article and maybe stop a future edit change. (I see your talk commentary in the article and maybe you can direct readers to that reference by footnote) Anyway I leave it all up to you and I will move on.Eschoryii (talk) 14:29, 30 March 2018 (UTC) P.S. I received your e-mail. Thanks. I will be doing nothing further on this issue.Eschoryii (talk) 15:42, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
- You should be happy to see that I corrected the birthdate of Alfred Newman on the disambiguation page.Eschoryii (talk) 13:01, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
Yes, thank you. Do I respond here? I made another change that enhances the authority of the date.

New Music section in Film Noir article
editIn honor of the section you added to Film noir, I created a "Further listening" section with three entries, although I don't know if such a section title really exists. We'll see how long it lasts! If you're interested in seeing which movies are covered, the complete track listings for each entry is available at discogs.com. -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 08:19, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
