|I'm undoing the redirect. NS has been an important player in the semiconductor industry for 40 years or so, and had its own corporate history distinct from TI. I strongly disagree with your position. Historical information remains relevant even if the company no longer exists. In this particular case, I was looking for some historical information on NS but ended up at the TI article which did not contain the info I was looking for, while the NS article does. Your line of reasoning may be valid for e.g. a startup that gets acquired by some large company before it manages to have significant impact by itself, but not for a company that has been a significant presence in its field for 40 years. The redirect proposal appears to be a pointy one based on the proposer's own experience as a paid editor. I see no reason for it and will not support it. What argument? From your point of view, a page you created was redirected because you did not provide adequate references or evidence of notability. You looked around for a company with a similar profile, but you failed to take into account that two wrongs don't make a right. This article will not be redirected without consensus - so, unless you can find an established editor who agrees with you, it will be staying where it is. The content is not notable enough to have an article of its own. The content of this article could well be included in the Texas Instrument page to enrich its portfolio. Please take note of this extract from Wikipedia:Harassment: "Correct use of an editor's history includes (but is not limited to) fixing unambiguous errors or violations of Wikipedia policy, or correcting related problems on multiple articles. I know that you are a paid editor working for Traxon Technologies and that you have not declared your conflict of interest. I know that you are trying to promote the company you work for. Stalking and follow almost every pages I am editing and doing discussion, in which to specifically give a point of view against my own. While giving a point of view against my own do not really constitute bad stalking, doing so is on the borderline of Wikipedia:Harassment. Although I am not really sure what wikipedia policy is on this, I am sure this is not a encouraged behavior. I would politely ask you to stop stalking my edits, or I would be forced to ask for other assistance should the situation become severe enough. Thanks. DRN help needed and volunteer roll call

First, assistance is needed at DRN. We have recently closed a number of cases without any services being provided for lack of a volunteer willing to take the case. There are at least three cases awaiting a volunteer at this moment. Please consider taking one.

Second, this is a volunteer roll call. If you remain interested in helping at DRN and are willing to actively do so by taking at least one case (and seeing it through) or helping with administrative matters at least once per calendar month, please add your name to this roll call list.
