A3071 Road

Hi. You used Roader's Digest - The SABRE Wiki as a reference for this article. Unfortunately, my understanding is that this doesn't qualify as a reliable source because anyone can edit that article at any time, and it may contain mistakes. The Historic OS Maps on SABRE Maps, however, I believe can be used a source because it's ultimately a map produced by a Government department, and you can use the wiki as a "See Also" page under links. Hope that clears things up a bit. --Ritchie333 (talk) 17:21, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited A1152 road, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Woodbridge and Melton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

About vandal editing on a page "Caucasian Avars"

Dear-admins and other! I ask to pay your attention to that fact, that before my arrival to Wikipedia.eng, your article "Caucasian Avars" was in a pity condition. There was no neither illustrations, nor a normal text. It occured only because from were constantly done the editing, called to not help at all to improve, and on the contrary to destroy. The same process now has begun.About all this I have specified on a page "conversations". Familiarize with it, please. Editing of the user Tigril34 is in practice vandal pseudohistorical editing. It deliberately prevents to work. Notice, that it tries to bring by any in clause a mention Turks. And it is more than anything does not do. And without any preliminary discussion!--Gorgan Aparshahr (talk) 23:57, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

New Page Triage engagement strategy released

Hey guys!

I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyes wikimedia.org.

It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:37, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Cambridge

Hi. In connection with this merge (and with reference to #WikiProject Cambridge Members) it might be worth considering proposing at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject East Anglia to amend {{WikiProject East Anglia}} to include Cambridge-importance=|Cambridge=. -- Trevj (talk) 11:20, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

IM5

I have removed the speedy deletion tag on IM5. A band formed by Simon Fuller, Perez Hilton and Jamie King is notable if only for their involvement behind the scenes, if not for the band's own accomplishments. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:32, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Carlo T. Piranio

I removed your CSD and your PROD-BLP on the article. The person isn't living so it isn't a BLP and the article makes a claim of significance. I'm going to do a little bit of research and I may slap it with a notability page. Otherwise, wait a day or so and then take it to AFD. Ryan Vesey Review me! 18:14, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Julian Roughton

The article Julian Roughton has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't appear to be notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD 10:05, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Julian Roughton

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Julian Roughton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. – hysteria18 (talk) 16:33, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
