The article Kundrai Vaendan Karikalan has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Orphaned non-free image File:RaavanRaajtheFilm.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:RaavanRaajtheFilm.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:05, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Do not remove Biographies of Living Persons prods from articles without addressing the issue, as you did with Kundrai Vaendan Karikalan. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the respective talk page instead. Thank you. Borkificator (talk) 14:24, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:OSHBBMithun.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:OSHBBMithun.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:06, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Ashokavana
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ashokavana, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Oddbodz (talk) 19:49, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Your contributed article, A Jugara Krushna Sudama
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, A Jugara Krushna Sudama. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Ae_Jugara_Krushna_Sudama. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Ae_Jugara_Krushna_Sudama - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. --Srikant Kedia 13:18, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
pls don't add Karthik Muthuraman's name in 1989. It was Kamal Haasan who won it for Apoorva Sagodharargal in that year. It was mentioned in Dina Thanthi under "Varalatru Suvadugal" , August, 2008 edition. --Thalapathi (Ping Back) 08:13, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've got that info regarding Filmfare awards from Varlatru Suvadugal published on Kamal Haasan's life history. It's a much reliable source. If u have the source provide it. Kamal has won a total of 19 filmfare awards in 5 languages, out of which 12 are in Tamil. He has won it for films released in the years: 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1981, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1995, 1996 and 2000. --Thalapathi (Ping Back) 09:22, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Souten, you may be blocked from editing.
Words like "Superstar" and "superhit" do not belong in Wikipedia articles, unless they are part of a direct quote (in which case they should still be used very sparingly). bonadea contributions talk 13:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

The article VIRUS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable film; IMDB listing is incorrect; google search does not give any 2008 film of this name
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Skier Dude (talk) 23:56, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Odipolamaaudiolaunch 004.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Odipolamaaudiolaunch 004.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 00:12, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with VIRUS. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 16:47, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- The IMDB reference you gave for this film was false, and there is no reference to it in IMDB or in the director's IMDb entry. You wrote on the talk page "Even in Malayalam film magazines, no report of this film never came, but I watched the film in a preview show", but the WP:Verifiability policy requires that "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source" so if there is no reliable source for this film it cannot have an article. Even if there were a source, not every film gets an article - see WP:Notability (films). JohnCD (talk) 18:43, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

VIRUS
I thought that was a hoax, because you gave a false reference to IMDB, which actually has no entry for it, and also because Shankar's Virus is a well-known computer virus. (Maybe that gave him the idea?) It is important to get references right, because misleading references are usually a sign of a hoaxer. For instance, your article Lal Chunariya (film) gave http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00000/ as an IMDb reference, which gives a "Page not found" error - I have corrected it to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381357/.
Wikipedia:Verifiability is a very important policy, and is what makes Wikipedia a more useful resource than fan-sites and gossip sites. The key sections are:
"any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source... The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—whether readers can check that material in Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether editors think it is true."
So the fact that you saw "VIRUS" is not helpful, and the two sentences in the thehindu.com reference only show that he made such a short film and that it has been shown somewhere. That does not provide verification for the rest of the material in your article, and it is nowhere near enough to establish notability to the standard required by WP:Notability (films). See particularly the section "General principles" as an indication of the expected standard - even a fully released, full-length film might not qualify, and it is quite unlikely that a never-released short would make it (unless, perhaps, there was such interest in the maker that you could find the necessary significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources). - I've finished removing the prod template so that this article will not be removed right away but there are still concerns about this article. It has zero referneces, this needs to be corrected or the article is in danger of being deleted. Raj Tilak
Hi, Did you check for the existence of the article before creating it. Since Raaj Tilak (1984 film), the article which you created/expanded duplicates the existing one, I'm re-directing it to Raj Tilak. In future always perform a "search" before creating new articles which would avoid such problems. --Commander (Ping Me) 07:24, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- That may be the case but don't create articles that duplicate existing ones. If you find wrong spellings just make a redirect. "1984 film" is not at all necessary now as there is no such film of the same name that exists in WP. If another article of the same name, different subject though, exists then it can be specifically mentioned. On a side note, always put your signature at the end of your comment. (4 tildes) --Commander (Ping Me) 08:25, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- I redirected your page to Raj Tilak, since that was created long back. Also yours was unreviewed. So it would be better to go with the original article. I moved the entire content from the new article to the old one so don't worry. --Commander (Ping Me) 08:29, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Maseetha.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Maseetha.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 07:28, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Re: Ilaiyaraaja
Don't you think it's unnecessary to include "Directors" and "Dates". He has worked in nearly 1000 films. Are you going to waste your time in finding out the release dates and directors for all those films. If you do so the table will become more cluttered and will not look good. The table which we have now looks okay. --Commander (Ping Me) 16:28, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}

Alexabraham22da (talk) 15:41, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. - I think you aren't aware of the page being deleted previously. Don't create film articles based on speculations. See WP:NF --Commander (Ping Me) 15:34, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- You wrote on the talk page:"the film has been already announced and pre- production works are going on, moreover reference links too provided. Agreed that,it would start only in 2012,that does not mean that,news is fake". No, but Wikipedia has a clear policy about future films - see WP:NFF:
"Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date."
- The reason is that Wikipedia is not a fan-site, but an encyclopedia, which does not cover things that might happen - see also Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. That is why the deletion debate at WP:Articles for deletion/Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru decided, only two weeks ago, that the article should be deleted, and why any re-creations before shooting starts will be deleted too. Male Debut
Man, you are wrong. The awards for 1988 films were given in 1989. We mention the awartds one year after the film's released, when the ceremony took place. Also, this is a category for acting, not directors. There's a separate cat and you can add it in there. Thank you, Shahid • Talk2me 12:35, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:RaghuSir.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:RaghuSir.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Koottukaar
Hello,
If you like to upload e an new free image, please upload on top of the existing file as a new version of the file to reduce file count and avoiding the orphaning of existing images. Also, the file you uploaded is not giving equal prominence to all actors. you are welcome to upload an equal prominence image above the exisiting one, one which is not having any visible watermarks. Again, there is one common patteren we all are following for the opening paragrah, please adhere to it for consistency, it is not required to say 'feature film' and all, the Categories will take care of those.
Happy editing.

The article Vidharth (actor) has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bgwhite (talk) 06:56, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi, can you verify whether the entry for 1993 is correct or not. The winner for that year is unsourced. --Commander (Ping Me) 14:11, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
Hello Rajeshbieee, I just wanted to let you know that I took a look at your recently created article Sheesha (1986 film)-- However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: the article does not contain enough in-line citations, and so doesn't follow Wikipedia style guidelines. It's nice to see you editing! Jipinghe (talk) 19:14, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

- Did you buy those from any book shop. If so can you provide some details about it. --Commander (Ping Me) 15:42, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello, Rajeshbieee, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia!
I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you worked on, Punnaram Cholli Cholli, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
It helps to explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the Help Desk. Thanks again for contributing! I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 09:17, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.
- Oru Muthassi Katha (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
- was linked to Tamil
- SP. Muthuraman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
- was linked to Kanaka
Any suggestions for improving this automated tool are welcome. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 23:56, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
SP Muthuraman
It looks like you created a duplicate of the existing article. In future before creating any new article always search whether it exists or not. Also do not add box-office stories like "Hit" "Flop" to filmography tables. Anyway, good work with the article. --Commander (Ping Me) 11:13, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- If so move the page (S. P. Muthuraman) to the actual name (SP. Muthuraman) instead of creating a new page named SP. Muthuraman. Adding terms such as "Flop" and "Hit" are superfluous terms that do not add any informative value. --Commander (Ping Me) 11:32, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- No the page is well developed now. So leave as it is. --Commander (Ping Me) 11:50, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
