Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! July 2018 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Russia and Demographics of Russia, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 22:05, 22 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

July 2018 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Crimea has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Russia, you may be blocked from editing. Warning for numbers vandalism (adding fake numbers; see page history and user's contributions) - Tom | Thomas.W talk 23:30, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Teahouse, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:24, 26 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your thread has been archived edit

Hi RUSSIANEMPIREwwone! You created a thread called Countries at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.

Archival by Lowercase sigmabot III, notification delivery by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} (ban this bot) or {{nobots}} (ban all bots) on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:02, 29 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

August 2018 edit

Hello, I'm NewEnglandYankee. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Russia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't change a sourced number unless you are prepared to provide a better source for the revision. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 01:39, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

December 2018 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24h for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  User:Ymblanter (talk) 00:45, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
You have been previously warned, and now, when you decided to pus your nationalistic POV, time for blocks has come.--Ymblanter (talk) 00:06, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Russia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. General Ization Talk 04:28, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

In reply to your email: You may not instruct other editors here not to edit an article. Please see WP:OWN. General Ization Talk 04:32, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 04:33, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

January 2019 edit

Hello, i understand what i've done and i am greatly sorry for this. I am willing to change if i get unblocked and i promise to never again vanalize the coomunity guidlines or pages ever again. Can i please be unblocked because i will do better editing and promise never to disrupt any page from now till the end of time. I wanted to try and get back to what i was doing before this conflict, please, will you unblock me?

Request reason:

I would like to do better editing and make things right for me, my pages and the administrators of the Wikipedia website RUSSIANEMPIREwwone (talk) 01:38, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:57, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've removed the autoblock template - you're directly blocked for extensive disruption of Russia and Crimea-related topics. You'll need to show an understanding of why you were blocked and you'll need to explain how you'll change your editing if you are unblocked. Acroterion (talk) 02:29, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked for disrupting a page and violating information on it. I completely understand the reason for getting blocked, i understand my mistake and i vow to do better. I shall make more constructive and informative contributions to the Wikipedia community. I shall never again commit any further damage to pages and violate them with false information. I have read the guide on this and fully understand why i was blocked. I am now asking flor forgiveness from the wise administrators of Wikipedia and promise to do better. Thank you RUSSIANEMPIREwwone (talk) 22:31, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Sorry, not enough to say, "I understand what I did wrong and won't do it again." What is it you won't do again? What will you do instead?. You also changed information about Zoroastrianism ‎ w/o sourcing or discussion. I think a topic ban on Crimea and Russia is in order. Please describe what constructive edits you'd make. Also, speaking for myself, the "wise admin/forgiveness" bit is not helping your cause. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 15:07, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I intend to edit other pages such as the Zoroastrian Population by Country or give an update on my talk page about my recent activity. I also agree to never interfere with the Russia/Crimea topic and or pages again. I will become a better contributor to this community. I will not break anymore pages and ruin info about that page's topic.

I've removed the autoblock template again, as Acroterion did above. You are directly blocked for disruption, and not affected by the autoblocker. SQLQuery me! 02:14, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

When could i be unblocked? It's been a week and i already said that i understand what i did, i'll never do it again. Please believe me

Hello, i've been meaning to ask, how long will i be blocked for. I understand what i did wrong and plan to do better in the future. I am asking for forgiveness from the administrators of the Wikipedia community. I believe that this block is no longer necessary because i learned my lesson, i want to contribute to Wikipedia and this has become a nuisance to me. I already stated that i have changed my ways and promise to make a greater Wikipedia and support those who run it. So please, i beg you, can i be unblocked? I will prove to you that i will never again cause any further harm to pages and info. It was a big mistake that i made and a am regretting it. Please, will you unblock me? Look, i'm trying to be nice but no one wants to help. This whole blocking issue is very annoying and i'm trying to compromise with the administrators. For the last time, i have learned my lesson and plan to do better. But no one believes me and i am willing to agree on terms just please remove this block. It's not necessary anymore for me to be blocked. I am looking for help on this and no one wants to accept the unblock. Can someone help me out? You just got caught creating a sock puppet. Your best option now is the standard offer: prove that you can go six months without sock puppetry, and we will review your case then. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:52, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

"I am sorry. I was wrong. It's not a question of, did I do something that you believed was wrong. It's a question of, did I do wrong. Yes, I did wrong. I should not have edited those articles to say those things. I have strong political opinions, but I should not have let them affect what I did to the articles. I have had it explained to me that, for politically sensitive topics, sentences can be the result of long careful discussions on talk pages, which are supposed to be acceptable to all sides. I should not have thrown myself in and tried to replace a neutral statement with a statement supporting my own political beliefs. I am sorry, and if I am unblocked, I will not do it again - either on this article, or on any other article that is about Russia's borders today or during WW One or at any time between that. Again, I was wrong. I am sorry." RUSSIANEMPIREwwone (talk) 21:29, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Four declined unblock requests plus a CU-confirmed sock, so may I suggest removing TPA? - Tom | Thomas.W talk 22:11, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

What do you mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RUSSIANEMPIREwwone (talkcontribs) 22:15, 11 January 2019 ((UTC)

The comment above was not for your benefit. Loosely translated, it means, "Enough is enough." General Ization Talk 22:28, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Do you see the line that says, If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired?" That means you are approaching the point where someone removes your ability to edit this page. In any event, I do not see any unblock request being honored before 6 months from today.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 22:42, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
I see I was wrong. You have passed that point. In 6 months you may appeal this block via the WP:UTRS.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 22:44, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unblock discussion since I've already declined once before. edit

I was really considering unblocking until I saw you created a sockpuppet to evade your block. (I surmise User talk:Emperor of Lords was autoblocked and checkusered.) You may not attempt to appeal this block for 6 months from today. Each time you edit or sock, the clock will reset. I am disinclined to make the standard offer but someone might feel differently. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 22:37, 11 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
