Hello, R.S. Peale, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

I feel honoured that you came to my talk before creating your own. Ask questions here, I will watch, mine is crowded ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:49, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am equally grateful for your taking the time and trouble to create this page, too. Though it seems that Der Process' cover was already copyedited into a Z by the publishers at the first publication, and it was not until much later when the original unpublished manuscripts were published, that the overzealous Correction could then be corrected. Thank god WP works faster. :) --R.S. Peale (talk) 08:34, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Pilkey

edit

It doesn't make sense to say that he moved to Oregon in 1993 without saying that he later moved to Seattle. If you look at the talk page, he says over and over again that he moved to Seattle. There are lots of web pages, such as this one, this one and this one that confirm that he moved to Seattle. Frankly, I never heard of Pilkey before; I was just drawn here by the vandalism to the Cynthia Rylant page. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:41, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is hard to believe that the IP cannot come up with one published source to support the claim that Pilkey did not live in Eugene Oregon with Rylant in the 1990s. Were there no profiles of him or bios by his publishers during that whole period? Moreover, the IP's continued deletion of the paragraph after it was explained to him that edit warring is prohibited and that COI editing is discouraged, makes it difficult to give him the benefit of the doubt. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:04, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
