Meningococcal disease vaccines edit

Would someone advise ? Article: NmVac-4 A/C/Y/W-135 - how can I change the title with generic name as Meningococcal meningitis A,C,Y & W-135 vaccine instead with Trade name? If this article is within in the scope of Wikipedia, please remove deletion post at the top of article otherwise please advise me accordingly. Please feel free edit. Peter grotzinger (talk) 16:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • I've just closed a deletion discussion and deleted two of the short articles listed therein. Editors recommend that the content go into Meningococcal disease#Prevention as there is already some substantial content in there. You may wish to create the redirect to the existing article and continue from there, as other editors have recommended in the discussion. The NmVac4-A/C/Y/W-135 article is relatively well-written considering that you're new here, and given the feedback you might want to consider either (1) link the vaccine article from the Meningococcal disease article, or (2) merge the vaccine content into it. I understand that there are some article protocols over here that might confuse you, but I believe that your contributions would be fine and be appreciated here. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Happy editing! - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 18:43, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • P.S. How to rename an article. - Mailer Diablo 18:43, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you so much for appreciating our article and for your kind approval to publish. This article is already linked to Meningococcal disease#Prevention. Time to time, I wish to update the article with new information and hope it is OK. I also trying write an article on "Serum bactericidal antibody (SBA)". - Best regards, Peter Grotzinger 13:23, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • You might want to create a holding subpage (for example) to organise your research and writeup before shifting it to the article space. It's a rather popular method for editors these days writing new articles. :) - Cheers, Mailer Diablo 19:52, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Jeeri reddy.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Jeeri reddy.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:07, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

December 2008 edit

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article JN-International Medical Corporation, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. January 2009 edit

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Talk:NmVac4-A/C/Y/W-135. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Willking1979 (talk) 00:21, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to Talk:NmVac4-A/C/Y/W-135 has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see here for what to do. Thank you. Sorry, it was done by mistake Peter grotzinger (talk) 14:30, 6 January 2009 (UTC) By the why I could add more information to pages Neisseria meningitidis and Meningococcal disease. Please some review the articles. I tried to add citations for Meningococcal disease article. Peter grotzinger (talk) 14:30, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violations edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. Canterbury Tail talk 20:50, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi - the external material belongs to us where the words are taken- please advise I wish to license to Wikipedia because large number people shall be aware of the disease. I just trying to write an article on "Polysaccharide vaccine" which is missing at "Neisseria meningitidis" - it is OK. I shall stop here and read the GNU Free Documentation License and then start again Peter grotzinger (talk) 21:01, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikification edit

I've added the infobox {{drugbox}}, sorted out the section names/order/sub levels per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (medicine-related articles)#Drugs. Then please note that reference tags generally go after punctuation, and for repeated use of the same reference source the 'name' parameter of the ref tag may be used. See the edit history and the edit-comments for further explainations.

Whilst a full article, currently I think it seems too technical for a general encyclopedia and needs, IMHO, toning down - but let see how it looks after working on those multiple-multiple duplicated refs and also uprate the citation details.

At this point an increeased slope of teh learning curve of learning about wikipedia editing, so do ask if you have any questions :-) David Ruben Talk 00:29, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:NMR Y.jpg missing description details edit

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

Speedy deletion nomination of Xanthomonas campestris (Pam.) Dowson edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Xanthomonas campestris (Pam.) Dowson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://oar.icrisat.org/2151/1/ICN19_%2813-15%291988.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for September 19 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jeeri R. Reddy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PMI. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of File:Nmvac dt.jpg edit

The file File:Nmvac dt.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
