or must you post this? edit

In Ormus matter: the ormus concept is not generally acknowledged by physicists. To put that another way: ORMUS is pseudo science which is not even notable enough to be written up as such or as an hoax. I spotted your new article, had a vague recollection, investigated and found Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ORMUS. Very sorry to come down so heavily on your first contribution. I also found User:Sloth monkey/ORMEs. You might like to ask that monkey whether he thinks the article can be re-instated. -- RHaworth 13:06, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

On second thoughts, we are told to "assume good faith" so I have taken the liberty of posting your article here to facititate public discussion. -- RHaworth 13:22, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

__meco 12:09, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Monorail images edit

Hi OlavN,

Firstly, congratulations on the monorail article. The pictures I took of the Sydney Monorail are indeed available at Wikimedia Commons.

Thanks for wanting to include one of them! :) Cheers - Gobeirne 22:57, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of AccuRadio edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article AccuRadio, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Lacks notability and has few references to back up its importance.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. magnius (talk) 11:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Robert O. Becker edit

The article Robert O. Becker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Directed here from a Youtube video on how to make a microcurrent generator to cure AIDS, I see no notable existence for this person outside fringe medicine, nor do I see any sources of biographical information apart from electromedicine and silver medicine sites.
Furthermore, those sites linked above cite dubious, unsourceable claims, such as "twice recommended for the Nobel Prize", which is quite a thorough survey process from which results are not posted, and if true would mean little if a friend in a non-fringe field recommended him.
Last but not least, the article is without secondary sources (all publications from the man himself), and reads like a tender obituary (no offense to the deceased).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SamuelRiv (talk) 05:30, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see you removed my deletion recommendation. The issue is that all the sources are from the man himself, whether or not they are publications in peer-reviewed journals, which raises suspicion of a self-promoting pseudoscientist. Another check has shown a NY Sun obituary and a 60 Minutes interview, which I will add in, but work should be done to reduce the unquestioned admiration for the guy, as most of his work is not followed except by fringe advocates and nuts. Proposed deletion of Lightweight rail edit

The article Lightweight rail has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article written in an essay form and non-neutral way to promote original research

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Arsenikk (talk) 22:23, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In Compaq Concerto, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Tablet PC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May 2012 edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. You appear to be adding material based on unreliable sources and no sources to the Robert Becker article. IRWolfie- (talk) 09:28, 11 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, The Body Electric (book) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, The Body Electric (book). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - The Body Electric. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at The Body Electric - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. IRWolfie- (talk) 22:30, 26 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Explaining edit

I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 16:52, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
