Flags edit

Hi, I noticed that you have been adding flags to a number of football player infoboxes. Although it is not a massive problem, the addition of flags in infoboxes is against wikipedia policy for a number of reasons. See WP:FLAGS and this discussion for more details. • Please don't get disheartened, keep on contributing, we need as many good editors as possible on South American football. When you write a message to someone, you can sign it by putting four tildes(~) afterwards. Best wishes, King of the NorthEast 00:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

My teams edit

My local team are Darlington F.C. my big team are Liverpool F.C., I lived in Argentina for a while , so I support Argentinos Juniors too, (I've done a lot of work to improve their page). I hate A.C. Milan and Manchester United, but I have resisted the temptation to vandalise their pages, because I have too much respect for football and for Wikipedia! Who do you support? Barca or LDU?, or maybe another? King of the NorthEast 00:28, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Squads edit

I have made you this empty squad template. You can copy it onto the Article you want to use it on. Then just fill in the player names yourself and change the player positions, numbers and nationalities if you need to.

Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.

No. Pos. Nation Player
1 GK   ECU [[]]
2 DF   ECU [[]]
3 DF   ECU [[]]
4 MF   ECU [[]]
5 MF   ECU [[]]
6 DF   ECU [[]]
7 FW   ECU [[]]
8 MF   ECU [[]]
9 FW   ECU [[]]
10 MF   ECU [[]]
11 MF   ECU [[]]
No. Pos. Nation Player
12 GK   ECU [[]]
13 DF   ECU [[]]
14 DF   ECU [[]]
15 MF   ECU [[]]
16 DF   ECU [[]]
17 FW   ECU [[]]
18 MF   ECU [[]]
19 FW   PAR [[]]
20 MF   URU [[]]
21 MF   ARG [[]]
22 GK   COL [[]]

Please remember that if you make a current squad, you have some responsibility to make sure that it is kept up to date. Other people have made loads of them, then just left them, then when they get years out of date they look terrible, with all the wrong players. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
