George Withers edit

I just got your notice that you intend to delete the article on George Withers. I went there to add a source and delete the template, but both the article and talk page appear to be protected so that I can't edit them. Here's a source which lists him as an illustrator for the Saturday Evening Post: [1]. StuRat (talk) 21:07, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Be careful edit

You seem to have taken a rather keen interest in my contributions by trying to delete a number of articles I created or to which I significantly contributed. You should read WP:STALK before you make following me around your life's work. – Lionel (talk) 21:19, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have no personal interest in your contributions, so do not take the AfD nominations personally - and I am in no way stalking or harassing you. It is simply that that some articles that you created do not appear to meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia as stand-alone articles. Although you are not a new user, it might be helpful if you were to review WP:Your first article. For example, creating the very short article Conservative Party (Guatemala), with no context, as you did here is not helpful to the project, and the notability of some of your other articles is suspect. I have opened AfD's, and the community will now have the opportunity to weigh in on the issue of notability. Nonogyro (talk) 21:43, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

February 2012 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In one of your recent edits, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 23:31, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure what edit you are referring to, but I will try to do better in the future. Nonogyro (talk) 19:41, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of James Hurst (screenwriter) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on James Hurst (screenwriter), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
