If someone has actually said that the station will do thus and so, it is okay to put it here with a credible WP:FOOT. If they have not actually said so in so many words, then the sentence should not be here at all. "Belief" has its place in relgion articles but not in too many others. Actual facts are preferable. The fact the images are presented differently doesn't suddenly mean that they are necessary. Please take a read of the non-free content criteria- why do you believe these logos are so important? Non-free content should be used as an absolute last resort. J Milburn (talk) 10:22, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

The fact these logos exist is not reason to show them. There is a strong consensus that the current logo is fine when used in the article infobox, but historical logos have to be significant in themselves in order to be worth showing. Just because other articles use non-free content inappropriately, does not mean that yours can. Also, I'm welcome to remove comments from my own talk page- Powergate's comments really weren't important, and were just picking fault with semantics. Frankly, I've got better things to do than argue about that. I'm fairly sure he realises why the comments were not important, and he was just arguing for the sake of arguing. I said this to you before and I will say it again, just look at the rationale on the logo to see how it is significant as the rationale says "The significance of the logo is to help the reader identify the brand, assure the readers that they have reached the right article containing critical commentary about the brand, and illustrate the nature of the brand in a way that words alone could not convey." SexTV: The Channel and Drive-In Classics

According to CTVglobemedia's website, they already removed SexTV: The Channel and Drive-In Classics from the list of CTV-owned properties. They did not provide further details if the transaction has been in fact finalized but according to www.broadcastdialouge.com the two channels are officially now owned by Corus. 99.233.133.187 (talk) 16:32, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Merging riding articles

Please hold off on merging any more riding articles for the time-being. i strongly believe that you are doing so on the basis of original research. For example, in your last article merge, Honoré-Mercier (electoral district), you claim that "In 2003, its name was changed to Honoré-Mercier and its boundaries were adjusted slightly such that 95.5% of the riding came from the original Anjou—Rivière-des-Prairies, while 4.5% came from Hochelaga—Maisonneuve." This contradicts the Parliament of Canada website that says here about Anjou—Rivière-des-Prairies: "The electoral district was abolished in 2003."

I will start a discussion on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Electoral districts in Canada talk page. Until the issue is resolved, I ask that you stop merging articles to reduce the work that has to be done if the Wikipedia community concludes that these articles should not be merged. Thank you. Alberta election articles

Sir. I strongly protest your changes to Alberta election articles. The tables you put in, quite frankly look old broken and terrible. The articles are already standardized and I have put hundreds of hours of meticulous work to standardize them. The election results are ordered in logical numerical order by year to include the addition of prose and references for each election. Mashing the election results together into one section does not facilitate easy editing and alteration. I am certainly open to improvements, but these 'improvements' are clearly two steps back.--Þadius (talk) 07:13, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your help in standardizing the election results tables.
