You removed my edit on Aaron Schock's page because you did not consider Gawker a reliable source.

However, how about the Huffington Post? Here is a link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/aaron-schock-gay/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.172.174.171 (talk) 00:13, 8 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Did you read the aritcle? The evidence given is the speculation of a comedian: "Out comedian Mario Cantone believes Republican Congressman Aaron Schock of Illinois is either gay or in the closet." So, no, that is not a source you can use in this case. Noah 00:45, 8 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Paranoia

edit

As you might have already seen, I don't know Eric J Allen and only learned about this article and situation the other day. I dont know why you think I am him based on our names. I suggest you not assume in the future, the proper thing to do would have been to ask me first. And from what I have seen it does not make sense to draw that conclusion. THere are more than two people with the name Eric and for the record my las name begins with a J. Have a wonderful evening. EricJ1074 (talk) 05:59, 13 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Also, why on earth would I try to delete the article? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents&oldid=646866902#Speedy_deletion EricJ1074 (talk) 06:17, 13 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hi EricJ, sorry if my conspiratorial nature got the better of me. On the other hand, I would agure that it did make sense to draw that conclusion given the evidence and behavior I had observed. Best regards, Noah 15:07, 13 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Women's Football / Soccer Task Force News: August 2017

Should the women's football task force become WikiProject: WOSO?

According to an op-ed in the recent Signpost, some editors think task forces and subgroups are dying in 2017.

What do you think about forming our own WikiProject separate from WP:FOOTY? There's an on-going discussion of the potential pros and cons on the task force talk page. Input is welcome.

Recent developments

New initiatives have been created for:

  • FA WSL (England's top-division league)
  • NCAA (American university teams, conferences, etc.)
  • W-League (Australia's top-division league)
Ongoing tournaments
Current and upcoming seasons for top-division leagues
Did you know?

While WP:FPL lists only two women's top-division leagues as notable due to its "fully professional" criteria, did you know you can create an article on any player in any league as long as the references meet WP:GNG guidelines? Make sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}.

Have some new articles in mind or see some that need improvement? Add them to the Open Tasks page if you'd like and other editors may be able to help. Need tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors? Leave a message on the task force talk page.

Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)!

Hello WOSO editors! A few initiatives have been started with an emphasis on making more WOSO links blue (similar to the work that WikiProject Women in Red does) and filling in the gaps within various league, team, and player, etc. articles.

If you're interested in collaborating with others to make more links blue, take a look at the initiatives listed in the box below. Sign up at the bottom of an initiative page and help grow the lists, add potential references, resources, and create the articles ... or create your own initiative.

Did you know ...

WP:GNG takes precedence over WP:NFOOTY (which only includes the players in 1 active women's league)? Often times there is enough media coverage that meets WP:GNG or other notability guidelines. For more information, see WP:WOSO#Notability and be sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}

Hi there, re: this edit, was there a specific change you were trying to make? It's unclear based on your edit summary and you seem to have reverted the article to a months-older version. Was this on purpose? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:36, 13 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Looks like I made a mistake. I was trying to revert this edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kumkum_Bhagya&diff=prev&oldid=929216249 Noah 20:14, 13 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

WP:WOSO News: October 2020

Chelsea striker Bethany England scoring the winning goal in the team's 2-1 win against Arsenal at the 2019–20 FA Women's League Cup, February 29, 2020.

Hello WOSO editors!

What a year to be alive. As usual (but perhaps even moreso since there have been unexpected quarantines), there has been a lot of activity on player, team, league and tournament-related Wikipedia articles with all of the worldwide coverage of women's football / soccer. Great work!

Fall Focus: FA WSL articles

You may have noticed lots of great things going on for the top English league this year: the FA WSL. More (international!) broadcasts, top international player signings, improved media coverage, and increased viewership. Let's keep the momentum brewing, shall we?

Here's a sampling of articles that could use creation, expansion or updating. What will you commit to working on?

Historical Topics
Managers
Teams
Players
Other

See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Women's football task force/Initiatives/FA WSL to collaborate and organize with other editors.

Every little bit helps! Thanks for your contributions!
