Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Niranjanpansari. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Sri Balaji Video, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MB 15:11, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sri Balaji Video

edit

The article Sri Balaji Video has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, no decent sources found to establish notability, created by a promotional COI editor

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. December 2021

Hello, I'm ScottishFinnishRadish. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Temper (film) have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:27, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Yamadonga. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:30, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Magadheera, you may be blocked from editing. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:35, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:49, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because the username, Niranjanpansari, matches the name of a well-known, living person.

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username.

If you choose to keep your current username, please send an email to info-en wikimedia.org including your real name and your Wikipedia username to receive instructions from our volunteer response team about account verification. Please do not send documentation without being requested to do so.

If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our username policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you wish for your existing contributions to carry over under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" from their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a change of name request.
  3. Your requested new username cannot already be in use. Therefore, please check the list here to see if a name is taken prior to requesting a change of name.
Appeals: If, after reading the guide to appealing blocks you believe you were blocked in error, then you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice. Drmies (talk) 03:24, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

In addition: please see WP:COI and follow the guidelines in WP:DISCLOSE--you obviously have a conflict of interest, and if you don't disclose, that's another reason for an indefinite block. Drmies (talk) 03:26, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
