Tripuri Cinema is not a concept. Tripuri Cinema means films which are produced in Tripura. And the sources provided clearly tells that these films have neorealistic approach as an alternative cinema opposing to mainstream cinema which is inspired from Neorealism creating a new wave of cinema in Tripura.
