Welcome Nickpayifson!
I'm S0091, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, S0091 (talk) 22:26, 23 May 2021 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
Recent edit reversion
editIn this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 01:08, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- You might find Wikipedia:Copyright violations helpful for explaining why we generally cannot include material published elsewhere. Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright is another helpful page. Like S Philbrick said, feel free to ask us if you have any questions. — Wug·a·po·des 21:07, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
