Your GA nomination of Michael Brendli

The article Michael Brendli you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold  . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Michael Brendli for things which need to be addressed. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 01:31, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

A little late I know, but thank you for the pass. I'll confess to being severly irritated with the HCSO however. The reference for his arrest can be obtained through the Arrest Inquiry section of the HCSO section, but for some reason it comes up blank when clicked on/linked to. I'll have to do another search for different sources whenever I find the time. ♥NiciVampireHeart01:51, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I hope you don't mind that I created the GTC for the Spirit Squad. If you do, my bad I didn't mean to. If you don't, here's the link ---> Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/Spirit Squad/archive1. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, thank you, for the cake and beer, and who cares that it's late, I mean I don't. I'm still celebrating. :) Of course, I always have your back on that stuff, and okay cool, cause I wasn't sure, cause didn't we discuss who was going to nominate SS? I know what you mean, I'm dealing with craziness at school [so many damn projects and tests], my job, and here. Yeah, I saw that. Like I've said, the WWE is making it harder on us. Yeah, I agree. The fact that Ted. Sr. gave it to him was because of "spite"? Really? That's the best that they can come up with? Lame. Good, just stressed out. Today, I went hiking and I got sunburned, really sunburned. My face is aching right now. Before I logged in I was like 'Please, don't let there be stuff out of control', but I should've said the opposite, my watchlist was freaking long. If you got the time, if you got it, would you mind doing an alt text for Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kirsten Dunst's articles? There's a user right now doing them, but they're not all that great, and that's what I'm fearing he'll do if he gets to them. That's all really. I got nothing "biggie". So, besides your life being busy and stuff, how you been? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:05, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

You have no idea how great it is to hear from ya. For some reason, I thought I pissed you off and that's why you didn't "talk to me". I kept telling myself, she's busy, she's got stuff to deal with, I'm not important, I didn't do anything... right? But, it's good to hear from ya... nonetheless. Thank you for the alt, it's truly appreciated. :) I did a check, the spelling was fine. I know, congratulations on it passing. Oh, that silly submission page. I'm so ashamed of myself. ;) Yeah, I know. I've decided to "drop everything" and expand episode articles. Well, my sunburn is gone, thank God. Really? Just like England, it's always raining over there, or it's just cloudy. I hope you're feeling better, food poisoning sucks. I didn't get to see the draft, I was in a play, but from the results of things, it was quite interesting. Cody to SD, Edge and Morrison to Raw, pretty interesting indeed. For some reason I thought Cody was going to come back and interfere in the title match between Orton and Swagger, but I guess he didn't. I guess now, Legacy is over. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:01, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Oh, okay, understandable I guess. I told ya, when you had the time to do it... to do it. I didn't mean do it as soon as possible, that's not what I meant. Cool, I'm glad we're cool. :) No, I'm not mad at you. Like I said, you deal with stuff here and not here, which I understand. ;) Yeah, can you believe it. I believe I'm the female beating all these guys in my bracket, which is great. :) You'll make it to the next round and somehow you'll do a come back, I know it. OMG, I too have exams coming up, but I'm too lazy to study. Well, the last time I was in England, July 2005, it was cloudy, which surprised me a lot. That's why I was kind of surprised that you said that it's raining in Ireland, and yes Emerald Isle, it's so green. Wait what? Jericho is on Raw? Son of a bitch. Yeah, you're right, SD did lose a whole bunch of people. Who's going to "represent" SD? Punk? I don't think so. Wow, you guys got screwed. You know, I wanted the Irish dude to go to SD, and when I read the draft results that he didn't leave, I was bummed out. Who went to TNA and Vince don't like? I gotta say that when Christian was brought back, he'd be doing the same stuff in TNA, main eventing, but he isn't. Wasn't that the reason he went over there in the first place? I'll admit that it's now time to give these titles to different people. Well, Triple H is out due to a neck injury or something, I read a report. Yeah, SD got screwed. I would love to see a feud between Raw and SD people, like back in '05, because of the draft results; that'd be awesome. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:55, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Yes, Staxringold is male. Hell yeah we cool, we're the awesome duo. :) I know, I'm so happy. After the Pitt article was promoted, that's when I started leading in my bracket. That's good, and I wish you good luck with those future GAs and DYKs. Oh, been meaning to say to this for a while, but it "left my mind", congrats on Eve passing. I know you work hard on her article and stuff. :) Yeah, I was in London, visiting my cousin, and it was in July. I thought I'd see sun, but I didn't. Yeah, I think I might go overseas again, hopefully I can go to Ireland or whatever. You guys had sun? Wow, that's cool for you guys. Yeah, 15/20 is freezing; that's like New York and Boston weather. Sure, Taker is understandable as the face of SD, but he's not there. The others, they don't really seem to be the "faces" of the brand. Bourne was drafted? Damn. Oh [for Christian]. No, I want the Irish dude gone, he's not a great asset on Raw. Okay, Cena duck taping Batista's legs or whatever was brilliant... right? Cena is no idiot. Your boyfriend on the other hand... ;) Yeah, I also heard that Batista's contract is up and he doesn't want it renewed. Yeah, that's true. Though, maybe it's a cover-up so that he can spend time with Stephanie, cause supposably she's pregnant again. Yeah [on the SD thing]. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:23, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I know, that would've been weird, us competing against each other. I knew you'd make it, duh, cause of the GT promotion. :) You're the main contributor to everything which is kinda cool. ;) Okay, I'll keep that in mind for my next trip over there. He lives in Florida and he's still white? Wow, that's unheard of. Oh well. IDK, the fact that he "beat" Triple H and is using that as an excuse to get a title shot is lame. Sorry, I have nothing against Irish people, but that dude is just annoying. Yeah, I too saw SD just to see what was going on and gotta say the show is not the same. Jericho should've stayed, can't believe that fool is on Raw. Yeah, until 'Taker gets back, the show is gonna struggle. Oh, then I read that wrong [about Bourne]. Whatever, Cena did something remarkable, and it was awesome. It would've been funny if he did it to the Irish dude. Miz is not awesome, IDK what you talkin' about. :) Yeah, I saw that, can't believe Show turned on 'em, but it was funny stuff. I think so. He didn't get time off when his first daughter was born, cause of the whole DX thing, so I'm guessing Stephanie can't raise two kids at the same time she's pregnant, right? Yeah, he probably is hoping that it's a boy this time around. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
I knew that it had to be promoted before the round ended, which it did. Yeah, that's true, be leading and stuff in the brackets. Yeah, go you, and all that stuff you do. It is hilarious, but it's weird, too. He must be using sun block to stay that damn white. Let's just leave it that we both don't like the Irish dude. :) No, Miz is NOT awesome. No, I fell asleep, and didn't get to see it. From what I've heard, Edge tried to bring back Rated-RKO, but it was unsuccessful. Oh God, Miz and Jericho? Weren't they feuding a few months back? Well, would you want to be raising two young kids, at the same time you're pregnant, while your significant other is out there working? Does the "new" Hart Dynasty appeal to you... in the future? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:05, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

I was told that Randy RKO'ed Edge for that spear. IDK, I'm gonna have to see the Raw rebound later. That would be interesting the two getting back together, but Randy needs to move on from this whole tag team thing, you know. Wait, you like Edge as a heel, but you don't like him heel? ["I like having heel Edge back though - I don't like him as a heel."] Is the second heel suppose to be face? No, not wrestling, didn't you tell me they were feuding on Twitter? Okay, cool, but wait wouldn't we have to get the entire Hart Foundation to GA? Damn, that's gonna be a lot of work. Really? Damn, we really do think alike... we have cool minds... indeed. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 18:06, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Was it? Damn, can't believed I missed it. Oh, okay, I was just wondering. Well, if there's a proposal to have it as its own article, then I support it, cause this is a different Hart... dynasty, so. No, I don't, but I'll try to see if I can get his book or the DVDs. Hmmm, forgot that Bret Hart was part of the team. Well, we can probably post-pone that one. Team ECK seems interesting, just need the team and Rhino's article. The Colons was one we discussed, IDK what happened to that. IDK. Whatever you want to do, I'll do it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:48, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Damn, Hart's involvement kinda killed it for us. Yeah, we did discuss the Colons, but I guess we can to some conclusion not to get it. I'm too lazy to go over our past threads. Well, if Team ECK isn't that difficult to work on, then let's go for it. Or, let's just get the Colons, more recent stuff I guess. Actually, haven't we worked on articles that we both discussed? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:58, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

It's okay, dude, like I've said above. :) The Awesome One? I don't think so. If this "Awesome One" was "awesome" why lose the title to a much older man? Though, it was "awesome" to seem him tap. ;) Alright, let's do the Colons. What do you want to work on? Tag team or the other dude? Have I hit the 1,000 mark on Shawn Michaels' page? Man, that's really a big accomplishment from my part, and you're welcome world. :) Damn, that's a cool feature, where it lists all your edited articles, I've never seen that before. Thank you for showing it to me, and giving me an award, which I appreciate a lot. Here's something from me to you. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:31, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Darren Young

Look at the Darren Young talk page. I am telling you his real name is Frederick Rosser and he was NOT born in 1979. Don't believe me, do a simple search on classmates.com and you will find him- Union High School (Union, NJ) Class of 2002. I am positive his name is Frederick Rosser and he was born in 1983 or 1984. Thanks! TheNextSocrates (talk) 19:39, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Please provide a reliable source. Only then can the information be changed - the name "Fred Sampson" as his real name is sourced, so it requires a source to change. ♥NiciVampireHeart05:31, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

As you can see, the source of the supposed name "Fred Sampson" ACTUALLY says Fred Rosser as I said along. I am telling you I graduated with the dude. He WAS NOT born in 1979. I cannot find a source for it, but at the least take the 1979 down because it is just not correct. TheNextSocrates (talk) 19:07, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Finally found your source for his age. He says on his personal MySpace that he is 26 years old, meaning he was born in 1983 like I said. TheNextSocrates (talk) 04:30, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 May newsletter

We are half way through round 3, with a little under a month to go. The current overall leader is   Sasata (submissions), who has 570 points. He leads pool C. Pools A, B and D are led by   Hunter Kahn (submissions),   Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) and   White Shadows (submissions) respectively. Anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Two of last year's final 8,   Theleftorium (submissions) and   Scorpion0422 (submissions), have dropped out of the competition, saying they would rather their place went to someone who will have more time on their hands than them next round. On a related note, a special thank you goes to   White Shadows (submissions) for his help behind the scenes once again. There is currently a problem with the poster, perhaps caused by the new skin- take a look at this discussion and see if you can help. The competition has continued to tick over well with minimal need for judge intervention, so thank you to everyone making that possible. Good luck to all! If you're going to ask a question, at least use a question mark. I'm assuming you didn't like me tagging your image as an orphaned fair-use one. Don't know why, it would have been tagged by a bot anyway. Perhaps next time you upload a fair-use image, you'll ensure there's actually a need for it. ♥NiciVampireHeart11:41, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Match time edits of various WWE PPV articles.

Sorry if the match times I've edited on the various PPV articles aren't sourced. I just have this habit of being the timekeeper using the "Display Time" feature on my DVD player while I watch events and what I get usually comes within 3 seconds either way of what the official sourced times list. If my edits are unwanted please feel free to let me know and I'll stop immediatly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.93.112.140 (talk) 18:17, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

That's changed since I last looked. I know I saw it say that article creators couldn't remove prods. They had to put a "hang on" tag there instead. It's only other editors that could remove a prod and force an AfD. I'll do that when I get a chance because they are all in violation of WP:COI. !! Justa Punk !! 03:13, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Well I did it once before and it wasn't questioned. It went to AfD anyway because an IP removed it and I thought the IP was a sock of the article creator and THAT caused something of an issue (there never was a response to the CU but anyway). All six have now gone to AfD. That was hard work! !! Justa Punk !! 00:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

We're half way through 2010, and the end of the WikiCup is in sight! Round 3 is over, and we're down to our final 16. Our pool winners were   Ian Rose (submissions) (A),   Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) (B, and the round's overall leader),   ThinkBlue (submissions) (C)   Casliber (submissions) and   TonyTheTiger (submissions) (D, joint), but, with the scores reset, everything is to play for in our last pooled round. The pools will be up before midnight tonight, and have been selected randomly by J Milburn. This will be the toughest round yet, and so, as ever, anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Though unaffiliated with the WikiCup, July sees the third Great Wikipedia Dramaout- a project with not dissimilar goals to the WikiCup. Everyone is welcome to take part and do their bit to contribute to the encyclopedia itself.

If you're interested in the scores for the last round of the Cup, please take a look at Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/Round 3 and Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/Full/Round 3. Our thanks go to   Stone (submissions) for compiling these. As was predicted, Group C ended up the "Group of Death", with 670 points required for second place, and, therefore, automatic promotion. This round will probably be even tougher- again, the top two from each of the two groups will make it through, while the twelve remaining participants will compete for four wildcard places- good luck everyone! Copa Libertadores

Hello

I want to bring up something that has been troubling me. On the GA nominations page, the Copa Libertadores page has been ignored for a pretty long time while the main reviewers perform reviews and other subjects. I don't want to sound like a nag but other nominees (which are about a week old) have been taken faster than my nomination.

Since this is a mass message to the most frequent reviewers (I only counted four main reviewers), could you at least tell me if an article needs to be a GA before nominating it to become a FA? Or at least point me to a reviewer that could review my nomination? Thanks.

Jamen Somasu (talk) 13:09, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

I already have done a peer review and more. So are you telling me that it does not need to become a GA to turn it into a FA? BTW, who is in charge of the GA nomination page? If that is the case, I would like them to take the page I nominated so I can throw it on the FA nominee page. Jamen Somasu (talk) 13:59, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. I just dropped the GA nomination. I have a feeling that it was skipped several times simply because not many people are interested on the subject. Thanks for your help! Jamen Somasu (talk) 18:36, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Dashing Cody Rhodes

Kinda annoyed you deleted me crediting his new ring name, saying it was unsourced, clearly you didn't watch Smackdown where he was called it and labelled it when announced for the MITB match, *sigh* Sepmix (talk) 09:30, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

As for me, I'm "kinda annoyed" that you decided to ignore my request that all new sections go to the bottom of my talk page. To quote yourself "*sigh*".
In addition, I did not say the new "ring" name was unsourced (although it was). The unsourced portion of my edit summary referred to ""The Dashing One" (bestowed upon by Matt Striker)" which I reverted at the same time. The pertinent portion of my edit summary was not a ring name.
Which it isn't.
"Dashing" is a nickname. Hence why it's listed in Cody Rhodes#In wrestling as a nickname. It's the same reason that you don't see "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels in the infobox in Shawn Michaels, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is not listed in the infobox at Ric Flair, and "The Game" Triple H is not in the infobox in Triple H.
Furthermore, please don't come to my talk page and make assumptions that I "clearly" didn't watch SmackDown. I did watch it, and it fails spectacularly to be relevant to this conversation.
Have a nice day. ♥NiciVampireHeart02:04, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

"Do not revert sourced material". Hilarious. What exactly are you doing? We both have sources, the difference is yours is a copyrighted video that is illegally hosted. Hey, Long Time No Talk...I need you help with something.

Hey it's been a while. The last thing that I asked you about was in regards to a Marvel Comics character by the name of Cable. I have come across the older article that had all of his information, such as fictional character history and all that. I want to change it back but I would like someone who knows Wiki better to give me a hand. I would like to talk to you about in on here, but it seems as though it would take forever cause there is a lot that I need to know. I was wondering if there was another way to contact you, as in another email address or something. It would make this correspondence a little easier and probably help out quicker. This article has been a point of contention with me for quite some time and I would like to revert it back to the way it was before and make the appropriate changes as they are needed. The current article removed all of this characters personal history and he is a pretty important character in regards to the X-Men. Please let me know how we can go about this. You are the only person that I actually ask things about on here, and you have been nothing but helpful. So please let me know. It would be much appreciated. Hope all is well on your end. Thanks in advance for your time.
