Speedy deletion nomination of Fresh Rooms edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fresh Rooms, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 13:22, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

COI edit

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:NarendraKumarPankaj. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=NarendraKumarPankaj|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:25, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

You say we are re-writing it, but I can't see that you have declared you COI as instructed above. There is plenty of guidance in my comments above. Also look at eg Tesco and Hartford City Glass Company as examples of company articles. Also note that your draft had nothing about the number of employees or any financials so we have no way of knowing if it's notable enough for an article. Take your time, because if I think you are not trying to follow our guidelines, I will block you as WP:Not here Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:40, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your clarification, it's not a matter of being "furious", just trying to reconcile apparent contradictions in what you had said. I've little to add to the guidance in the two postings above. Your draft had large parts without independent third-party references, and had opinions and promotional language such as young and energetic entrepreneur... the first toilets which are focusing on women safety... world’s first-of-its-kind... luxurious and hygienic space... and so on. It reads like a company press release, and anything similar will get deleted again Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:22, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Jimfbleak, they're back at it again. Based on a quick google search it is very clear they have a COI and are only here to promote their client. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 23:27, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Isn't this rude? Where have I promote anybody? I added reference links like other designers. You editors have forced me to mention COI on my UserPage. And now not responding to my chats. @HickoryOughtShirt?4: NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 00:16, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, NarendraKumarPankaj. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 23:26, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
I've added COI to my UserPage - NarendraKumarPankaj.
Is this okay and make me qualify to make changes.
Except website owned by the person, Can I add NEWS links? OR Third party websites like their awards , published new etc. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 23:52, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@HickoryOughtShirt?4: - Hi! Kindly help. I tried making changes on my User page as guided before. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 23:54, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Because you have declared your COI, I'm not blocking you immediately, but your article for Grubb was a promo sourced to websites that are clearly not independent verifiable sources. You can still be blocked for writing promo despite declaring your COI. Also, because you have a COI you should write a draft and submit it for review rather than creating the article yourself @HickoryOughtShirt?4: Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:46, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
How to submit it to review? Because while submitting the content there we get 3 buttons only.
Also, please keep the page of "Christopher J. Grubb" alive as it was before. Remove my all addition to the page and keep it live at least. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 07:32, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Write a draft at Draft:Christopher J. Grubb and when you are ready, submit with {{subst:submit}}. I'm not going to restore the text. It was created by an account that made no other edits other than the ten required for auto-confirmation, and also posted the biography on their user page, a web host violation. The other main editor was a single purpose account with no other edits. Both are obviously undeclared paid editors Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:26, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi, I've created a draft page, for Draft:Christopher J. Grubb. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 02:37, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the invitation. Also, I'm creating draft on "Christopher J. Grubb" page, as you suggested above. I'll inform you once it is done. So, you can further check it. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 03:04, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Yamla,
I was asked to create a Draft:Christopher J. Grubb by Jimfbleak. So, he can guide me to make correction and remove promotional content. I believe, that's why DRAFTs are made.
Now, instead of getting reviews/feedbacks/guidance you simply deleted the DRAFT.
Kindly suggest what to remove from that page. As many people's pages are LIVE on the Wikipedia so he also deserve. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 13:13, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you are unable to refrain from blatantly violating WP:PROMO, Wikipedia isn't the place for you. That article was unsalvageable. Claiming that you were asked to create that draft is... stretching the truth. Jimfbleak was directing you not to directly create the article (instead, to create a draft). However, you are still expected to create an appropriate draft, which you manifestly failed to do. It looks like your only goal here is to promote your clients. Wikipedia isn't the place for that. --Yamla (talk) 13:19, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.Deb (talk) 13:13, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising. --Yamla (talk) 13:14, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear Yamla,
Thanks for your quick and prompt reply but
I'm here to learn and I was following all the guidelines to make a proper page and publish with the help of editor.
Dear Jimfbleak I request you kindly interfere. I want to learn, but it seems other editors are not in good mood.
Yamla, atleast you can mention the part of that article are promotional, so I can remove. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 13:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The whole article was unsalvageable. Almost no single sentence was appropriate for an encyclopedia. --Yamla (talk) 13:25, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok Yamla.
I totally understand that page was unsalvageable. Well, I took a reference from another Interior Designer page - Kelly Wearstler . If my page was promotional then this page should also be deleted.
Well, I'm not here to make comparison but to learn.
Kindly guide, how to make that page without sounding promotional. Could you please share any example, course material. NarendraKumarPankaj (talk) 13:30, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
WP:COI and WP:PROMO are good starting points. I have no interest in helping paid editors promote their clients and will not respond further. --Yamla (talk) 13:32, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I was told to put "Paid writer" remark in my profile, else my account would be deleted. That's why I mention that. And I request you to write few points, not just mention entire content was unsalvageable. What to include, what not to include in that content?
