Resource requests edit
I have placed quite a few requests over here, but none of it has been responded to, even though months have passed. Also, there is an October 2017 request by someone that still does not seem to have been fulfilled. That's the main cause of delay I think. Your merger of two lines for Red Rosan in Template:Baltimore Bullets (1944–54) coach navbox kept intact the pound sign (#) denoting interim head coach. Pro Basketball Encyclopedia lists him as such for the 1944-45 season but not for the 1945-46 season. -- Pemilligan (talk) 15:04, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

Creating pages edit
Hi. Are you unwilling to create pages over the top of others' redirects? Because it appears you create everything in your userspace then request it be moved. I don't understand why when your attribution is still there in the article history, and it appears you know how to create a notable first revision of an article. Ss112 22:19, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Ss112: While I do make my articles in userspace, it's easier for me to use userspace so they do not get reverted when I'm making the article. It's happened to me before: I started making an article from scratch over a redirect but it got reverted before I was finished. Therefore, if my article conflicts with an existing redirect, I'll have to request for it to be moved (only happened a few times so far). Also, I can take my time creating articles in userspace. Otherwise, 99% of my articles I make in userspace I can move to replace an exisiting redlink without any problems. - In that case, I wouldn't really see the need for a histmerge to preserve each individual contribution you made, when working on it in your userspace then copying it (as you are allowed to do, as you created it) is still attributing the creation of that content to you. - @Ss112: Since I work on so many userspace articles at once, I rather move them myself and know they are done than forget i copied and pasted it while still having the userspace draft. Re: Missing RPM Top Singles songs 1965 and 1966 edit
Thanks for your question, MrLinkinParkPark333. Unfortunately, I don't have direct access to the RPM issues you listed. However, there is a way to see them on the Library and Archives Canada site. Simply look at the charts for the next week; there should be a column for the song's position for the previous week. Some songs may not appear due to dropping out of the chart, but a large number should still be available. You can also go to this site—[1]—to see if there is an entry for the week, but I only recommend using this site as a last resort; I have discovered some of the information on this site is false. I only use this site as a preliminary search tool so I can find a song's peak date without having to search through 20-30 RPM issues one at a time. - @Nowmusicfan2816: The site says the 1965 songs were repeat week #1s. But in regards to 1966, I'm confused. Wikipedia says Flowers on the Wall peaked at #1 on March 1st 1966 labelled Volume 4, No. 19. However, the missing week of 1966 3 January 1966 is also labelled Volume 4, No. 19. I don't think there was a March 1st 1966 issue and it's possible the date is actually 3 January 1966. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 23:56, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- @MrLinkinPark333: I've run into this issue before. Sometimes Library and Archives Canada messes up on the dates. Chances are the alleged "March 1" date is really January 3, even though it doesn't say on the chart. Meanwhile, I don't see "Flowers on the Wall" on the Jan. 10 chart, so that may be proof enough to make this claim. Like I said before, don't rely on the site I gave you. Meanwhile, the "March 1" issue comes immediately after "February 28", which doesn't make sense. Based on all this, I'd say "Flowers on the Wall" was the January 3 #1.

I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages.
