A Welcome note from user Edaham

Hello MirandaMEvans, I noticed that you've been working through some tutorials and are familiarizing yourself with the wikipedia guidelines. Great to have you here. Below is a message detailing an article which you (perhaps a little hastily) created, using a single sentence with no sources. Articles like that are generally not kept on the main space of the encyclopedia, but you are welcome to use your sandbox or draft space to build articles in an environment relatively free from intrusion from other editors (although some rules like our biographical article guidelines still apply). I quickly checked through your contributions and noticed that you are receiving some help. If I can be of any further service or you have any questions, let me know.

A great first step could be to create a user page telling the community what sort of things you are interested in.

Don't be discouraged by the deletion of the test article you created, its quite common during the early stages of editorship. Have a great day and good luck getting started!

Deletion notice

edit

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Gourmet Traveller for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Autism Spectrum Australia moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Autism Spectrum Australia, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. The only provided sources that are demonstrably independent from the subject are a government listing of the organization (not in-depth coverage), and a research paper about autism that does not provide in depth coverage of the organization. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 21:01, 24 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
