Casey Sayles

Hi there! I approved Jeff Badet because he met the general notability guidelines, stating he received major coverage in several outlets. The XFL is a new league, so it isn't mentioned on the football-specific notability guidelines yet. But in general, players need to have a profile on them in a newspaper, which Badet had. I'm not sure that Sayles currently meets the GNG. There is some coverage, largely transactional in nature. This might be the best article for using, but I'm not sure it's enough. However, you can continue to work on the article in draft space and maybe I'll approve later. ~EDDY ^{(talk/contribs)}~ 14:32, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

Yep, no problem. Also, just as a heads up, the {{ping}} template only notifies the user when you sign your post with the four tildes (~~~~). So in this instance, since you already signed your post in a previous edit, when you went back and added the ping I did not receive a notification.
