Sanna Ejaz(born 03rd June) is one of the leading social, rights activists, blogger, journalist working for peace building and human rights. Sanna leads Gandhara center for peace and cultural education. 

Early Life & Education

Sanna was born and brought up in Peshawar. She received her early and high school education from Federal Government School in Peshawar and completed her bachelor's degree in Management and Public Administration from (College of Home Economics University of Peshawar. She has also got professional bachelors degree in Education and Diploma in Development Journalism from Department of Journalism and Mass Communication University of Peshawar. Sanna has also completed several certificate courses: She has done graduate course in intercultural Education & Leadership from Plymouth State University New Hampshire USA.

Political Career

Sanna joined Awami National Party in 2008, then became its youth wing National Youth Organization's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (provincial) Education and Culture Secretary in 2013 and then became vice president of the province in 2017. Joined Pakhtunkhwa Ulasi Tehreek in December 2014. Sanna started supporting the Pashtun cause of Mehsud Tahafuz Movement which changed into Pashtun Tahafuz Movement and has became its core committee member (core leader) in 2017.

Activism

Sanna Ejaz is a Founder & Chairperson of Gandhara center for peace & cultural education. Sanna, a dissident has been arranging diverse occasions, for example, Training workshops, Charity appears, Walks and vigils on Human Rights [specifically women], Peace and Pluralism, Activity Based Learning, Child Friendly Schooling, Conflict Resolution, Personal Hygiene, Basic Teachers Training. Sanna stayed full time volunteer to propel ladies voters crosswise over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA once in 2008 (when Mangal Bagh, the aggressor authority had banned ladies from vote throwing in open dangers) 2013 General Election held in the nation, and after that in 2015 neighborhood bodies race (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). Sanna is the leading female social activist who works against terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sanna has won journalist of the year award for reporting on reproductive health rights by Agahi Award, she has been given different recognition letters for her contribution in women’s rights recognition, civic education, gender equality, and women’s role in democracy and for her contribution in culture promotion and preservation. Sana’s activities are not only limited to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as rest of the Pakistani provinces in particular the then Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas or FATA.
