December 2021 edit

Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Wikipedia:Oversight, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 17:52, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, there’s a new Wikipedia oversight policy when I checked the this page in Chinese Wikipedia : (https://zh.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:监督)

When I checked this page, the first part of this page it said:

(自2021年8月31日起,维基媒体基金会不接受居住在中国大陆或其他封锁维基媒体项目的国家或地区且被基金會以外的第三方知悉確實居住地方的用戶签署非公开信息保密协议,且会撤销已经签署的协议。从而,这些用户无法被授予用户查核员或监督员权限。)

In English (by translation): From August 31, 2021, the Wikimedia Foundation will not accept non-public information confidentiality agreements signed by users who live in mainland China or other countries or regions where Wikimedia projects are blocked and are known by third parties other than the foundation to actually live in. And will revoke the signed agreement. Therefore, these users cannot be granted user checker or supervisor authority.

Although I don’t know where source it is? Thanks MSA09 (talk) 18:01, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Detainee into Administrative detention. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 01:47, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

您好,来源的作者和出版者尽量用英文,XX新闻就写XX News,XX时报就XX Time,XX日报就写XX Daily,再不懂就搜索一下。然后就是尽量不要用翻译软件翻译。 QiuLiming1 (talk) 22:36, 22 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at FN Minimi, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 15:59, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, while I search these images on official Australian Defence Force website it shows soldiers are equipped with Minimi MK3 variants. MSA09 (talk) 04:22, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Beijing Military Region's turn against Vietnam moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Beijing Military Region's turn against Vietnam, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 15:40, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

March 2023 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing to posting fraudulent sources and copyright violations.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Nick-D (talk) 08:36, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Block is for:

  • this and this edit where you posted a false claim that the 1st Australian Task Force was involved in the wars in Cambodia and Laos, with the reference provided not supporting this claim. This is clear cut vandalism, and the use of a fraudulent source and your decision to add this material to a second article about a month after adding it to the first article makes me deeply concerned about all your other edits.
  • this edit where you copied and pasted text from an obscure website into Wikipedia. This kind of thing also makes me deeply concerned about your editing. Nick-D (talk) 08:38, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi, this is MSA09, I was blocked from editing because in recent time, I was adding disruptive content such as too much unsourced content, fraudulent source and vandalism including false claims as well linking a obscure website which caused copyright problem, thus became making serious concern to administrators, because these situations, I was admitted my fault and deeply feel sorry and from now, I won’t do it again and I will make help contribute to the encyclopedia and helping others and I will request help if I had editing problem, please give me one more last chance. Thank you.MSA09 (talk) 09:40, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'm having difficulty understanding this request. If English is not your primary language, you may feel more comfortable editing the version of Wikipedia that is in your primary language. There is nothing special about the English Wikipedia, it is not the premier Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 10:07, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

My name is MSA09 and I came to Wikipedia in 2019. I have had the pleasure of reading and editing Wikipedia for over four years and have met many people who have been willing to help me. Until February 2023, I was blocked from editing because I had made serious mistakes such as posting unsourced content, fraudulent sourcing and vandalism, including falsely claiming Australian involvement in Laos and Cambodia, and linking to an obscure website that caused copyright issues, among many other issues that raised serious concerns from administrators about my editorial activities. So I have learned from my past mistakes, I will not do it again and will contribute positively to Wikipedia, please give me another chance, thank you. By the way, English is the only language I speak and I can’t speak any other languages.MSA09 (talk) 10:45, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

No real chance of an unblock here without a substantial WP:TOPICBAN, given your previous problems with false information and misrepresentation. Yamla (talk) 10:50, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
