  The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Hi, I was using Huggle to revert but I saw you always winning when reverting! You are getting everything! Anyway thanks for helping in reverting vandals even when you have more job a sysop. Congratulations! Ularevalo98 (talk) 05:50, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the award. MC10 (TCGBL) 03:28, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Bubble tea!

Thanks!

Thank you for fixing up my templates! I really appreciated it! Brambleclawx 01:29, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

No problem. Glad I could help. MC10 (TCGBL) 04:26, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Re. Pressert

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that the article Pressert doesn't really meet WP:CSD#G1, since it does make sense when you read it (hence my tagging it as G3, it's WP:MADEUP). I'm not going to revert it, just thought I'd notify you. Cheers, XXX antiuser eh? 01:26, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

After reading the article again (before it got deleted) I agree. "Pressert" didn't make much sense the first time I read it, but now I realize it should be G3. Ah well, the article is already deleted. MC10 (TCGBL) 01:30, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
G1 is usually for gibberish like "nkdjhaskruh ishrviuhasig hagliuhiuhsiuchv" or "AAAAAA AAAAAAA!", most of the time if you can actually recognise the words in the article, it doesn't really qualify for G1. Cheers, XXX antiuser eh? 01:32, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I realized that. Thanks for telling me. MC10 (TCGBL) 01:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Deletion discussion

Hi MC10. Remember Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TXR2? I'm inviting those who participated in that discussion to a related discussion in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thermal Exchanging Composite Materials. Sole Soul (talk) 18:06, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Done I've made my comments there. MC10 (TCGBL) 02:52, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Talk:Sami Al-Arian

Hi

This is to let you know that there is a discussion at Talk:Sami Al-Arian that you may be interested in. I'm trying to stop the page descending into more of an edit war :) --5 albert square (talk) 04:12, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Replied on the talk page. MC10 (TCGBL) 19:59, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Talk page header

I don't know how I missed it, how you found it, or why you did this, but thanks.   pablohablo. 20:52, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

I was just looking through your talk page and found the incorrect links, so I changed them. And you're welcome. MC10 (TCGBL) 20:00, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:Signature

Just a note about your signature: per Wikipedia:Signatures#Transclusion of templates, using templates as signatures is forbidden. Could you at least subst: your signature template? Thanks. MC10 (TCGBL) 04:26, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe their referring to signatures in guestbooks. Bugboy52.4 ¦ =-= 20:12, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Oh I see, you use a different signature for guestbooks. Well that makes sense, but I still recommend you subst: the signature in case someone vandalizes your signature template. MC10 (TCGBL) 01:48, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Template for deletion

Friendly heads-up {{Imagemap}} is deprecated and nominated for deletion. It has been superceded by changes to the File namespace and I wanted to let you know, since you have a transclusion on your userpage or user talk. If you need to respond to this message, please do so on my talk. —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 21:43, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

I've replaced all transclusions with the necessary replacements. MC10 (TCGBL) 03:43, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Alpine Provencal

Hehe... okay, maybe I should have used a more descriptive edit summary, but that was a legitimate edit. Please see the post on my talk page just above yours. I'll await a message from you before reverting Alpine Provencal. Thank you. 152.16.16.75 (talk) 00:32, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Oops. I hadn't realized you had gone offline. Okay, I've gone ahead and reverted. If you're wondering why it should be a redirect, see User talk:Malik Shabazz#Alpine Provençal and Talk:Alpine Provençal. Thank you, and happy editing! 152.16.16.75 (talk) 00:43, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Whoops, sorry for the mistake. I didn't realize that they were supposed to be redirects as the names were quite a bit different. Thanks for resolving the issue. MC10 (TCGBL) 01:35, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

ACC

Hi.

I see you created a request that had been deferred for checkuser attention on the ACC tool. You are not a checkuser. You left no note explaining that a checkuser had been consulted. Why did you create the account? Stwalkerstertalk ] 19:45, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

It had been deferred? Well, that might explain why, but it shouldn't have been left open. I apparently did not find that note. It was just an open case. Sorry for any misunderstandings; could you tell me where the notes are? MC10 (TCGBL) 19:50, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
The note that says who it had been deferred to? There are three sections, and they look like this:

Open requests
Requests

Flagged user needed
Requests

Checkuser needed
Requests

Just look which section it is under, and there you go. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 20:00, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
It was under "Open requests" when I found it. MC10 (TCGBL) 20:01, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
[edit conflict] In the logs for this request, it shows that information too:
  • MC10 Closed (Account created), Request 45569 at 2010-04-08 19:29:29.
  • [...]
  • wifione Deferred to checkusers, Request 45569 at 2010-04-08 07:17:41.
  • [...]
wifione also left a note on the request too explaining why he deferred it to checkusers Stwalkerstertalk ] 20:09, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, I'm sorry for causing any trouble. I won't make that mistake again, that is for sure. MC10 (TCGBL) 20:10, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
A quick test on the sandbox shows it couldn't have been in the open requests section, UNLESS you'd had that tab open and unrefreshed for a full 12 hours before you started handling that request. Stwalkerstertalk ] 20:12, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, then that was my mistake, and I'm sorry for causing any inconveniences. I'm willing to lose ACC access because of this event for a while, because I was too hasty. In the future, this will not happen again. MC10 (TCGBL) 20:18, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

The Shining

The hotel from the shining is based off of several North American hotels, not British hotels. The Stanley hotel, the Alpine Lodge, the Ahwahnee hotel, and the Banff Springs hotel are all in North America. Name one British hotel that it was based on and I'll have no problem keeping it in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.123.252.30 (talkcontribs) 01:58, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, that was my bad. After reading the next sentence about the movie being developed in Britain, I thought that a hotel in Britain would also have been used, but doing a bit more research, I found that that was not true. By the way, if you want to add something in, it is best to add it in using <ref>Your reference here</ref> (see more at Wikipedia:Citing sources). MC10 (TCGBL) 02:05, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Peace Sign (War album)

Please undo your rename of this article. War is the name of the band; it should be capitalized. Thank you. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 01:24, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, that was my bad. I thought that the subject of the album was "war". MC10 (TCGBL) 01:29, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I've listed the page at Wikipedia:Requested moves. MC10 (TCGBL) 01:31, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 April newsletter

Round two is over, and we are down to our final 32. For anyone interested in the final standings (though not arranged by group) this page has been compiled. Congratulations to   Hunter Kahn (submissions), our clear overall round winner, and to   ThinkBlue (submissions) and   Arsenikk (submissions), who were solidly second and third respectively. There were a good number of high scorers this round- competition was certainly tough! Round three begins tomorrow, but anything promoted after the end of round two is eligible for points. 16 contestants (eight pool leaders and eight wildcards) will progress to round four in two months- things are really starting to get competitive. Anything you worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Judge iMatthew has retired from Wikipedia, and we wish him the best. The competition has been ticking over well with minimal need for judge intervention, so thank you to everyone making that possible. A special thank you goes to participants   Stone (submissions) and   White Shadows (submissions) for their help in preparing for round three. Good luck everyone! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Templates

I have reverted your changes to {{Welcome-anon}} as they broke the template. "Not vandalism?"

This: [1] If it's "not vandalism" then what is it? ×××BrightBlackHeaven(talk)××× 05:41, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

I'm assuming that it's not vandalism because since it was posted the Local Embassy's talk page, comments in different languages are welcome. If the translated meaning of that phrase is an attack or vandalism, feel free to revert. MC10 (TCGBL) 15:23, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Absence

Hi MC;

Yeh, I'm still around, I just haven't seen anything I can or need to change. Hope the editing is going well ^.^ ElemeshTalk 17:19, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

I see. Well, you can either Huggle, or start an article about a subject you like. Either see Wikipedia:Requested articles, or join a WikiProject, then help create and expand the article. MC10 (TCGBL) 17:23, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Or I could get on with my very hectic real life. I'd love to contribute, but I have had such little free time for the past eight or so months. It's no disrespect to the wiki, but it has to take backseat to my more pressing commitments. Happy editing ElemeshTalk 00:15, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
I see. Well, have fun, and hope to see you around soon. MC10 (TCGBL) 02:09, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 May newsletter

We are half way through round 3, with a little under a month to go. The current overall leader is   Sasata (submissions), who has 570 points. He leads pool C. Pools A, B and D are led by   Hunter Kahn (submissions),   Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) and   White Shadows (submissions) respectively.

Two of last year's final 8,   Theleftorium (submissions) and   Scorpion0422 (submissions), have dropped out of the competition, saying they would rather their place went to someone who will have more time on their hands than them next round. On a related note, a special thank you goes to   White Shadows (submissions) for his help behind the scenes once again. There is currently a problem with the poster, perhaps caused by the new skin- take a look at this discussion and see if you can help. The competition has continued to tick over well with minimal need for judge intervention, so thank you to everyone making that possible. Good luck to all! Hello

I did add a new entry to the Stephen Curry disambiguation page. Why did you revert? I am new to Wikipedia so forgive me if I have breached protocol. I occasionally receive messages looking for the other Stephens (particularly since I have the .com) I don't know what the level of "fame" is that warrants an entry but I have had an international award-winning Advertising career around the US. What is appropriate? Thanks. 166.137.14.200 (talk) 22:39, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

(I'm assuming you were 24.126.197.75 (talk · contribs · WHOIS).) Disambiguation pages are meant for pages on Wikipedia, not pages off Wikipedia. If you wish to list that person, go through the article wizard, create the article, and then list him onto the disambiguation page (as * [[Stephen Curry (advertising)]], if you create the page at Stephen Curry (advertising)). MC10 (TCGBL) 23:19, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
THANKS VERY MUCH, THAT WAS A BIG HELP - STEPHEN —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.126.197.75 (talkcontribs) 02:32, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Just go through the article wizard and create your article. It's the easiest way to create an article on Wikipedia. MC10 (TCGBL) 03:08, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
And since you say that you are the Stephen you added to the disambiguation page, I would recommend for you to read WP:COI. You should not write autobiographies about yourself here. MC10 (TCGBL) 03:10, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
