August 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Massachusetts Air and Space Museum has been reverted.
Your edit here to Massachusetts Air and Space Museum was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/MassachusettsAirSpaceMuseum/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:08, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

March 2022 edit

Hello, I'm CaroleHenson. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Massachusetts Air and Space Museum‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. –CaroleHenson (talk) 14:54, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, MASM-Director. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Massachusetts Air and Space Museum, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Comment edit

I am sorry to blast you with so many warnings. I wanted to ensure that I used the correct language for each of the issues. My intention is not to bite the newcomers.–CaroleHenson (talk) 15:18, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

November 2022 edit

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 19:22, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Usernames may not be associated with a position, and accounts may not be shared(i.e. passed to a successor to your position). Each account is for the exclusive use of a single person who may not give others access. You must propose a more individualistic username, and also review WP:COI and WP:PAID. 331dot (talk) 19:23, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I would further add, in reviewing your edit history, that the Director(whomever it may be) or the Board of Directors do not get to exclusively dictate what appears in the article about your museum, please see WP:OWN. Articles primarily summarize independent reliable sources, and content is arrived at by consensus in the event of a dispute. 331dot (talk) 19:26, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
